Abstract: In one form, a switching controller includes a buck controller and a bypass circuit. The buck controller has an input for receiving a variable voltage, an output for providing a buck voltage by switching the variable voltage into an inductive output filter according to a switching signal having a variable duty cycle to regulate a current into a load. The bypass circuit is coupled to the buck controller for comparing the variable duty cycle of the switching signal to a threshold, for activating a bypass signal in response to the variable duty cycle exceeding the threshold, and for subsequently de-activating the bypass signal according to a predetermined algorithm.

Abstract: A vehicle vision system comprises first and second vehicle headlights configured to project first and second light structures into a travel path of the vehicle to illuminate an object in the travel path. The system includes a camera disposed in the vehicle between the first and second headlights to capture images of the object in response to capture signals. The first and second vehicle headlights alternately project the first and second light structures. A system controller synchronizes the capture signals so that images of the object captured by the camera include reflections of the first and second light structures. An image processor can reconstruct a surface geometry of the object based on the reflected first and second light structures.

Abstract: An augmented reality-based content authoring tool is presented. A content author arranges machine-recognizable markers in a physical environment. A computing device operating as the authoring tool recognizes the markers and their arrangement based on a captured digital representation of the physical environment. Once recognized, augmented reality primitives corresponding to the markers can be bound together via their primitive interfaces to give rise to a content set. The individual primitives and content set are instantiated based on the nature of the marker's arrangement.
Abstract: An ozone supply device is described for generating ozone and supplying the ozone to a livestock feed system for application to livestock feed to sanitize the feed. The device includes an intake port for receiving air from outside the device, an ozone generator for receiving air from the intake port and converting oxygen in the air to ozone, an ozone compressor intake for receiving ozone produced by the ozone generator, a compressor pump for compressing ozone received through the ozone compressor intake, and an ozone supply line for transmitting compressed ozone to a livestock feed system for application to the livestock feed. The device also includes an ozone meter and display, a timer, an inverter, and one or more housings. An adapter is interconnectable between the livestock feed system and the ozone supply line of the ozone supply device to connect them together.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a cash flow tool that analyzes financial transaction data for a customer to address any determined inefficient activities of the customer are provided. Financial transaction for the customer can be received. The financial transaction data can include payables transaction data and receivables transaction data. A first inefficient activity of the customer can be determined based on the payables transaction data. A second inefficient activity of the customer can be determined based on the receivables transaction data. A first recommendation to address the first inefficient activity and a second recommendation to address the second inefficient activity can be determined based on services or products available to the customer. The first and second recommendations can be displayed to the customer in a simplified and user-friendly manner to facilitate efficient review and discussion with a representative.

Abstract: An integrated circuit that includes a generating circuit is described. During operation, the generating circuit may provide an edge clock having a target phase within a clock period of an input clock, where the generating circuit does not include a delay-locked loop (DLL). For example, the generating circuit may include a gated ring oscillator that provides a reference clock having a first fundamental frequency that is larger than a second fundamental frequency of the input clock. Note that the gated ring oscillator may be programmable to adjust the first fundamental frequency within a predefined range of values. Moreover, the generating circuit may include a control circuit that determines a reference count of a number of edges of the reference clock within a reference period of the reference clock.
Abstract: Example apparatus disclosed herein are to access first data entries from a first data source based on a first media identifier, the first data entries associated with first streaming media, respective ones of the first data entries including the first media identifier and corresponding timestamps that indicate when the first streaming media was presented or accessed via a group of media devices. Disclosed example apparatus are also to access second data entries from a second data source based on a keyword or phrase, the second data entries associated with news information or weather information. Disclosed example apparatus are further to align, based on the timestamps, the second data entries with values of a time varying audience of the first streaming media determined based on the first data entries to determine ratings data that correlates changes in the time varying audience with the news information or the weather information.
