Abstract: Method, apparatus, and non-transitory storage medium for fusing sub-block motion vector predictors into one sub-block motion vector predictor during video coding and decoding is provided. The method may include deriving a first displacement vector for a sub-block of a current block identifying a co-located sub-block of a co-located picture, and based on the identified co-located sub-block, determine whether the co-located sub-block overlaps with one or more sub-blocks associated with a motion field grid in the co-located picture. Based on determining that the co-located sub-block overlaps with the one or more sub-blocks, the method may include, retrieving two or more sub-block motion vectors respectively associated with the one or more sub-blocks. A final motion vector predictor for the sub-block of the current block may be derived based on the two or more sub-block motion vectors retrieved.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for determination of user presence and absence using WiFi connections. Reports may be received from WiFi access points in an environment. The reports may include an identifier of a WiFi device, an indication of a connection to or disconnection from a WiFi access point, a time of the connection or disconnection, and an identifier of the WiFi access point. A connection sequence for the WiFi device may be generated from the reports. Whether the WiFi device is present in or absent from the environment as of a specified time may be determined based on the connection sequence. An indication of presence for a user associated with the WiFi device may generated if the WiFi device is present in the environment. An indication of absence for the user associated with the WiFi device may be generated if the WiFi device is absent from the environment.

  • Publication number: 20240031369
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a network ingress filter based on both a customer's route object and recent traffic data for the customer. In examples, even though a customer of a provider network may have many routing prefixes in its route object, the customer may genuinely generate traffic from only a very small percentage of such prefixes. Accordingly, a combination of a system to generate all the prefixes based on a route object, along with the results of collected traffic data, may be used to generate a much smaller ingress filter. In examples, this filter may comprise an intersection of the prefixes generated by the customer's route object and the prefixes that have been actively generating traffic on the inbound interface of the router (or other provider edge system). This results in a smaller ingress filter that can be reliably configured on the provider edge system.

  • Publication number: 20240027167
Abstract: An aiming apparatus for a firearm has a frame, a plurality of visible and/or invisible light generators connected to the frame, with each light generator operable to propagate planar and/or non-planar light in the forward direction. Each light generator utilizes shaping optics to create straight or curved lines of light. Straight lines of light propagating in a forward direction will create a plane of light, while curved lines of light propagating in a forward direction will create non-planar light. A plurality of planar light oriented in a non-parallel, overlapping relationship creates a straight intersection line of light, while a plurality of non-planar light orientated in a non-parallel, overlapping relationship creates a straight or curved intersection line of light. When projected against a target surface, a plurality of planar lights creates a projected cross shape, which may have an intersection point.

Abstract: A diamond art kit includes a diamond art canvas which includes a substrate upon which an image is printed. A layer of adhesive is applied above the image, and a protective film (which can have perforated tear lines) releasably covers the adhesive. The substrate includes a textile layer that can be sealed by front and back sealing layers. A backing layer can be applied to the back sealing layer. The backing layer can be configured with fibers that are sufficiently flexible to allow the diamond art canvas to be rolled and placed within a tube for storage and shipping, but also has sufficient tensile strength to urge the diamond art canvas toward laying flat when unrolled.

  • Patent number: 11880696
Abstract: A system provides a design interface for designing and implementing graphical user interfaces that users can access through web browsers. Depending on the configuration of the graphical user interfaces, the users may be able to monitor and control industrial processes by interacting with components that correspond to the industrial processes as displayed in user interfaces at client devices. The design interface includes functionality for selecting preprogrammed components, or for generating new components for display. The design interface further allows designers to associate data values received from a variety of sources with properties of the components in the user interfaces. In particular, properties associated with a component of an interface are stored in property tree structures, making dynamic changes to the components possible. Data bindings between subtrees representing components and sets of data from industrial and other sources allows for designs that scale with the availability of the data.
