Abstract: A method for training a sub-model for contextual biasing for speech recognition includes obtaining a base speech recognition model trained on non-biased data. The method includes obtaining a set of training utterances representative of a particular domain, each training utterance in the set of training utterances including audio data characterizing the training utterances and a ground truth transcription of the training utterance. The method further includes, for each corresponding training utterance in the set of training utterances, determining, using an embedding encoder, a corresponding document embedding from the ground truth transcription of the corresponding training utterance. The method includes training, using the corresponding document embeddings determined from the ground truth transcriptions of the set of training utterances, a sub-model to bias the base speech recognition model to recognize speech in the particular domain.

Abstract: Present invention is directed to an artificial intelligence-based method and a system, that uses both experimental results data and molecular simulation to predict properties of amorphous solid dispersions such as glass transition temperature, dissolution profile, and/or physical stability. The method and system of the present invention enable rational design of amorphous solid dispersions for poorly water-soluble drugs and significantly reduce the time and resource required for amorphous solid dispersions formulation development.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to adhesive composite films which may be used to attach to food materials, and potentially form unions between food materials. These adhesive composite films generally comprise a backbone layer having one or more adhesive layers disposed thereon. They may be used to join many food-based materials often used as external barriers in foodstuffs such as tortillas, gyros, and pitas.

Each of the operations includes input metadata formatted according to the metadata schema. The input metadata describes input data to be processed by the operation and identifying a location for the input data in the data storage system, programmed instructions for performing an atomic operation on the input data to generate output data; and output metadata formatted according to the metadata schema. The output metadata describes the output data and identifying a location for the output data in the data storage system.

Abstract: An endograft delivery device assembly a guide wire cannula extending distally from the tip to a handle assembly at the distal end. A positioner is disposed around the guide wire cannula. A sheath extends from the handle assembly over the positioner towards the tip. A sheath splitter assembly is within the handle assembly, and includes a splitter body attached to the positioner and disposed within the sheath and at least one splitter arm. The splitter body defines a through-hole through which a guide wire cannula passes. The splitter arm extends laterally from the splitter body though a slit though the sheath to a support within the handle assembly. The splitter body includes a circumferential sealing surface extending towards the tip, the sealing surface and the inner surface of the sheath dimensioned such that the sheath is circumferentially stretched over the sealing surface thereby forming a seal.

The network connection path is generated by selecting network elements for the network connection that satisfy the connection parameters. Configuration information for the network elements of the network connection path is aggregated for a configuration system. The configuration information is used to provision the network connection.

In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry extracts, from a bitstream, a signal indicative of an application of a template matching based block vector refinement for coding a current block in a current picture referencing (CPR) mode. The processing circuitry derives a first refined block vector associated with the current block according to the template matching based block vector refinement. The first refined block vector includes a first block vector refinement offset applied on a first block vector associated with the current block. The processing circuitry reconstructs the current block according to a first reference block in a same picture as the current block, the first reference block being indicated by the first refined block vector.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a vehicle are provided. The systems and methods receive a frame of visible image data from at least one camera of the vehicle and a frame of invisible perception data from a perception sensor. The systems and methods fuse the frame of invisible perception data and the frame of visible image data to provide a fused frame of perception data. Object detection, classification and tracking are performed using a neural network based on the fused frame of perception data to provide object detection data. Steering, propulsion and/or braking of the vehicle are controlled based on the object detection data.

Abstract: A pinch valve configured to be combined with an inversion apparatus. An elongated component, such as a rope, cable, or light train, is able to pass through the lumen of the pinch valve during the positioning and curing of a repair assembly into an underground pipe system. A deformable member positioned within the housing is movable between a first position having a first internal diameter and a second position having a second internal diameter that is smaller than the first internal diameter. In the second position the deformable member is moved to constrict around the elongated component as the component passes through the valve. This helps prevent pressure from escaping through the pinch valve by decreasing the space between the deformable member and the elongated component. In this manner, the internal diameter of the pinch valve is able to conform to various diameters of elongated components passing through the valve in real time by moving the deformable member to create the desired internal diameter.

The action can cause the alert generation device to transition from the low power state to a second state in which the alert generation device begins transmitting the advertising packet. The electronic communication device can identify at least one emergency contact to receive an alert based on a contact policy and can determine an alert type based on the contact policy. The electronic communication device can generate the alert including a request for assistance and can transmit the alert to the at least one emergency contact.
