Abstract: A material mover assembly, comprising a chamber having an inlet and an outlet; a first paddle; and a second paddle, wherein the first paddle is positioned in and configured to rotate circumferentially in the chamber, the second paddle is positioned in and configured to rotate circumferentially in the chamber, or is configured to be inserted into and retracted out of the chamber, and wherein relative motion of the first paddle and the second paddle causes material to be pulled into the chamber via the inlet and pushed out of the chamber via the outlet in a forward direction. A material mover assembly may be reversible in pumping direction and further may be used as an energy generator in either direction.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and computer-readable media for generating computer code based on natural language input. In an embodiment, a method may comprise one or more of: receiving a docstring representing natural language text specifying a digital programming result; generating, using a trained machine learning model, and based on the docstring, a computer code sample configured to produce respective candidate results; causing the computer code sample to be executed; identifying, based on the executing, a computer code sample configured to produce a particular candidate result associated with the digital programming result; performing at least one of outputting, via a user interface, the identified computer code sample, compiling the identified computer code sample, transmitting the identified computer code sample to a recipient device, storing the identified computer code sample, and/or re-executing the identified computer code sample.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for aligning across layers in a coded video stream. A video bitstream having multiple layers is decoded. One or more subpicture regions are identified from among the multiple layers of the decoded video bitstream, the subpicture regions including a background region and one or more foreground subpicture regions. An enhanced subpicture is decoded and displayed based on a determination that a foreground subpicture region is selected. The background region is decoded and displayed based on a determination that a foreground subpicture region was not selected.

An upper geocomposite is positioned over the protective layer of soil such that the protective layer of soil is positioned between the lower and upper geocomposites. An impermeable geomembrane is positioned over the upper geocomposite and a shallow gas well collector is positioned within the protective layer of soil.

The drive manager device [8] is configured to communicate with an input collection/display unit (IC/DU) 10 via a first communication interface, the IC/DU operable by a user in the power wheelchair. The drive manager device [8] is configured to communicate with a caregiver unit via a second communication interface, the caregiver unit operable by a caregiver. The drive manager device [8] is configured to determine a command made by the user or the caregiver by processing command data received in a communication with the IC/DU or the caregiver unit [12]. The drive manager device [8] is configured to cause voltage to be applied to the drive controller [6] to cause the drive controller [6] to interact with the motors to actuate at least one of the moveable components.

Abstract: A vehicle includes an A-pillar, a windshield, a receiver, and a visor assembly, including an engagement feature that moves from a first position to a second position, and a biasing feature that biases the engagement feature toward the first position in the second position of the engagement feature. The visor assembly is operable between a stowed condition, wherein the engagement feature is in the first position and the engagement feature and the receiver are in a spaced relationship, and a deployed condition, wherein the engagement feature is in the second position and contact between the engagement feature and the receiver maintains the engagement feature in the second position against the bias of the biasing feature.

Abstract: An approach for encoding/decoding video data, performed by at least one processor, may include: obtaining a coded video bitstream; obtaining a plurality of blocks from the video bitstream, wherein the plurality of blocks comprise a current block and one or more neighboring blocks; determining, based a syntax element in the video bitstream, that a warp delta mode is used to predict the current block; determining positions and motion vectors of the one or more neighboring blocks; generating a first warp model of the current block based on motion vectors of the one or more neighboring blocks; selecting a warp model from among the first warp model of the current block and a second warp model associated with one of the one or more neighboring blocks as a base model of a coding mode; and decoding the plurality of blocks in the coding mode based on the base model.

Abstract: An annular hanger seal for sealing a tubing or casing hanger comprising a flow passage, at least one seal chamber, and a metal surface. Pressure can enter the hanger seal through the flow passage causing the at least one seal chamber to expand. Expansion of the at least one seal chamber can cause sealing contact between the metal surface around the at least one seal chamber and the housing, the hanger, or both surfaces. The seal can later be punctured or otherwise depressurized to break sealing contact for removal of the hanger from the annular space.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing data and source validation for equipment output data and/or for equipment failure predict. In various embodiments, in response to receiving a first request for first data that is output by first equipment, a computing system might retrieve and analyze the first data to determine whether the first data can be trusted. If so, the computing system might send the first data to the requesting device. If not, the computing system might send a second request for identifying a blockchain containing a block containing a copy of the first data. In response to the blockchain system identifying such a blockchain, the computing system might receive the identified blockchain; might abstract the block containing the copy of the first data from the identified blockchain; might abstract the first data from the block; and might send the first data to the requesting device.

According to embodiments, schemes for the monitoring, reporting, and notification may be created, updated, and deleted using a media processing entity (MPE) application programming interface (API). According to embodiments, based on the scheme being implemented by an MPE, a value of a variable of the MPE or a status of an event of the MPE, during the monitoring, or as a part of the reporting, or as a part of the notification may be sent by the MPE and received.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure provide an apparatus for hybrid heat spreading and heating, comprising: a heating element and a heat exchanger proximate to the heating element, wherein the apparatus is configured to be thermally coupled to an IC device that is configured to operate above a minimum operating temperature. The heating element is configured to: power on when the ambient temperature is below the minimum operating temperature and the IC device is not powered on and power off after the IC device is powered on. The heat exchanger is configured to conduct heat from the heating element to the IC device when the heater is powered on, such that the IC device is heated to a temperature above the minimum operating temperature and conduct heat away from the IC device when the IC device is powered on.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide swallowable devices, preparations and methods for delivering drugs and other therapeutic agents within the GI tract. Many embodiments provide a swallowable device for delivering the agents. Particular embodiments provide a swallowable device such as a capsule for delivering drugs into the intestinal wall or other GI lumen. Embodiments also provide various drug preparations that are configured to be contained within the capsule, advanced from the capsule into the intestinal wall and degrade to release the drug into the bloodstream to produce a therapeutic effect. The preparation can be operably coupled to delivery means having a first configuration where the preparation is contained in the capsule and a second configuration where the preparation is advanced out of the capsule into the intestinal wall. Embodiments of the invention are particularly useful for the delivery of drugs which are poorly absorbed, tolerated and/or degraded within the GI tract.

Abstract: A method of immobilizing a metal catalyst in a porous support includes additively forming a precursor structure on a substrate from a metal catalyst and at least one of a metal oxide or a metal cluster compound; exposing the precursor structure to a vapor of an organic linker; and reacting the at least one of the metal oxide or the metal cluster compound in the precursor structure with the organic linker to form a porous support that immobilizes the metal catalyst.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for decoding point cloud data. Data corresponding to a point cloud is received. A number of contexts associated with the received data is reduced based on occupancy data corresponding to one or more parent nodes and one or more child nodes within the received data. The data corresponding to the point cloud is decoded based on the reduced number of contexts.

Abstract: An electrostatic air precipitator electrode system where the particle collecting electrode or the particle collecting electrode and the repelling electrode are made of a unitary conductive polymer material, preferably a conductive synthetic polymer material. Parts of the conductive synthetic polymer collecting electrode are treated to enhance the surface area. The treatment may be mechanical, chemical, or otherwise applied to enhance the surface area of the electrode. The repelling electrodes may also be made of a conductive polymer material, preferably a conductive synthetic polymer material. The advantage of having a unitary collecting electrode and a unitary repelling electrode both made of the same or similar material is that they may be recycled as a unit under recycling protocols requiring unitary materials and may be rigid enough to reduce the spacing that would have been required with foam based electrodes.

The first member may be readily secured or removed from the bracelet by actuating a lever. The second member may be coupled to the first member via a second protrusion on the second member being inserted into a first receiving slot of the first member, and a first protrusion couplable to a second receiving slot of the second member. Magnets may be used to ensure the first and second member remain coupled. By actuating the lever to remove the first member, the article of jewelry with magnetic clasp assembly facilitates the convenient attachment and removal of slider charms and other ornamental accessories from the bracelet. Such slider charms may feature designs representing a user's life achievements and interests.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to updatable displays for transaction cards, such as credit cards or event passes. The displays may be, for instance, an electrophoretic or memory liquid crystal diode display. The transaction card may include a contact pad capable of engaging in wireless communication. Information may be exchanged between the transaction card and a mobile device or terminal, where a processor on the mobile device processes the received information to generate displayable information. The processor updates the display with the displayable information. The contact pad may be electrically connected to the display, and the display may derive electrical power to perform the updating from the wireless communication. For example, where the wireless communication is a near field communication (NFC), a radio frequency field may be generated that supplies enough power to run the processor and at least partially update the display.
