  • Patent number: 11212298
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for evaluating security detections. A detection instance obtainer obtains detection instances from a pool, such as a security detections pool. The detection instances may be obtained for detections that meet a predetermined criterion, such as detections that have not been onboarded or rejected, or detections that have generated detection instances for a threshold time period. The detection may be onboarded or rejected automatically based on a volume thresholder and/or a detection performance evaluator. For instance, the volume thresholder may be configured to automatically onboard the detection if the volume of the detection instances is below a first threshold, and reject the detection if the volume is above a second threshold. The detection performance evaluator may be configured to onboard or reject the detection based on an efficacy of the detection (e.g., based on a true positive rate of the detection instances).

  • Patent number: 11209135
Abstract: A modular troffer-style fixture particularly well-suited for use with solid state light sources. The fixture comprises a reflector that includes parallel rails running along its length, providing a mount mechanism and structural support. An exposed heat sink is disposed proximate to the reflector. The portion of the heat sink facing the reflector functions as a mount surface for the light sources. The heat sink is hollow through the center in the longitudinal direction. The hollow portion defines a conduit through which electrical conductors can be run to power light emitters. One or more light sources disposed along the heat sink mount surface emit light toward the reflector where it can be mixed and/or shaped before it is emitted from the troffer as useful light. End caps are arranged at both ends of the reflector and heat sink, allowing for the easy connection of multiple units in a serial arrangement.

  • Patent number: 11212545
Abstract: According to an aspect of the disclosure, a method of video decoding for a decoder is provided. In the method, transform block signaling information is acquired from a coded video bitstream. In addition, a determination is made to determine whether the transform block signaling information indicates an implicit transform scheme, and at least one of a low-frequency non-separable transform (LFNST) and a matrix-based intra predication mode (MIP) is invalid. In response to the determination that the transform block signaling information indicates the implicit transform scheme, and at least one of the LFNST and MIP is signaled as invalid, a primary transform type is determined based on a size of a coding block unit (CU), and a primary transform is performed for a transform block that is partitioned from the CU in accordance with the determined primary transform type.

  • Patent number: 11210929
Abstract: Crowd-sourcing of vehicles and smart listening devices is used for neighborhood monitoring. A cluster server is configured within a public network to maintain a cluster directory identifying cluster members including a neighborhood of smart listening devices and user vehicles, wherein the neighborhood is associated with a cluster of dwellings. The surroundings of the smart listening devices and the user vehicles are monitored using sensors in the smart listening devices and the user vehicles. Upon detecting an alerting event with one of the sensors, a corresponding one of the smart listening devices and the user vehicles that detected the alerting event initiates a message to another cluster member based on the cluster directory. The cluster member receiving the message initiates its own responsive action to the alerting event.
