  • Publication number: 20210397974
Abstract: Anon-volatile memory structure capable of storing weights for layers of a deep neural network (DNN) and perform an inferencing operation within the structure is presented. An in-array multiplication can be performed between multi-bit valued inputs, or activations, for a layer of the DNN and multi-bit valued weights of the layer. Each bit of a weight value is stored in a binary valued memory cell of the memory array and each bit of the input is applied as a binary input to a word line of the array for the multiplication of the input with the weight. To perform a multiply and accumulate operation, the results of the multiplications are accumulated by adders connected to sense amplifiers along the bit lines of the array. The adders can be configured to multiple levels of precision, so that the same structure can accommodate weights and activations of 8-bit, 4-bit, and 2-bit precision.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided that are directed to automatically adjusting a user interface based on tilt position of a digital drawing board. The digital drawing board has a tiltable screen with a sensor. The tiltable screen may be fixed in a stable tilt position. A sensor is used to determine that the digital drawing board has a first tilt position. The digital drawing board displays a first user interface associated with the first tilt position. The first user interface may be associated with a first use mode. The first user interface may also be based on an application running on the digital drawing board. When the sensor senses that the digital drawing board has moved from the first tilt position to a second tilt position, it automatically displays a second user interface associated with a second tilt position. The second user interface has different functionality than the first user interface.

  • Publication number: 20210400611
Abstract: A communication technique for synchronizing a set of radio nodes is described. In this communication technique, the radio node arbitrates (e.g., using a precision time protocol or PTP) with the other radio nodes based on a selection technique to select a synchronization master in the set of radio nodes. This synchronization master may be selected to have a predefined performance based on a type of communication environment of the set of radio nodes. For example, the type of communication environment may include overlap between at least one of the radio nodes in the set of radio nodes and a macrocell in a cellular-telephone network, or may exclude overlap between the set of radio nodes and the macrocell. Moreover, the synchronization master may specify time, frequency, and phase synchronization for the set of radio nodes. Thus, when the synchronization master is different from the radio node, the radio node synchronizes with the synchronization master.
