Abstract: User equipment (UE) may receive a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) including a master information block (MIB). Further, the PSS, SSS and PBCH are in a first bandwidth of a cell having a cell bandwidth, wherein the first bandwidth is a first portion of the cell bandwidth. The MIB includes an indication of frequency resources and time resources for use in acquiring additional system information. The UE may further acquire the additional system information using the indication of the frequency resources and the time resources.
Abstract: A system for identifying plugging of ground engaging tools of an agricultural implement may include a ground engaging tool configured to be supported by an agricultural implement and a signal transmission device provided in operative association with the ground engaging tool, with the signal transmission device being configured to transmit wireless signals. The system may also include an antenna spaced apart from the signal transmission device and configured to receive the wireless signals transmitted from the signal transmission device, and a controller communicatively coupled to the antenna. The controller is configured to determine when the ground engaging tool is experiencing a plugged condition based at least in part on at least one of an attenuation parameter of the wireless signals received by the antenna from signal transmission device or a lack of wireless signals received by the antenna from signal transmission device.
Abstract: A quantum dot (QD) lightning detection and warning (LDW) system and method. This LDW system and method find broader applicability to spark and other transient optical event detection as well. The QDs are operable for receiving ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), visible, x-ray, and/or gamma ray radiation emanating from lightning or the like and generating visible radiation that may be detected and utilized to generate topological event information, such that property, human life, and the like may be safeguarded.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a system receives an intermediate result generated by a compiler based on source code, where the intermediate result includes one or more vulnerability indicators indicating one or more lines of the source code being potentially vulnerable. The system performs a grey box fuzzing on a first executable code generated from the intermediate result to generate a first set of seed inputs. The system calculates a vulnerability score for each of the seed inputs of the first set based on the vulnerability indicators for the lines of the source code reachable but has not been explored by the grey box fuzzing. The system selects one of the seed inputs in the first set having a highest vulnerability score. The system performs a concolic execution using the selected seed input as priority, the concolic execution being performed on a second executable code generated from the intermediate result.
Abstract: A segmented bending system includes multiple linkages coupled to one another in a stacked arrangement. The segmented bending system also includes multiple rotation assemblies coupled to one another to extend through the multiple linkages. The multiple rotation assemblies include multiple cam members, and each cam member of the multiple members extends into a respective opening formed in a corresponding linkage of the multiple linkages. At least one cam member of the multiple cam members is offset from at least one other cam member of the multiple cam members in a circumferential direction about a center axis of the multiple rotation assemblies.

Abstract: A dual-voltage charging station system for an alternating current (“AC”) power supply and a mobile platform having a charging port includes a charge coupler, an AC-to-DC conversion stage, a cable, and a controller. The charge coupler has AC pins and direct current (“DC”) pins configured to engage with respective AC and DC receptacles of the charging port. The conversion stage is connected to the charge coupler and the AC power supply, converts the supply voltage to a DC charging voltage, and relays an appropriate AC or DC accessory voltage. The cable connects to the charge coupler such that the AC pins receive the accessory voltage and the DC pins receive the DC charging voltage. The controller simultaneously delivers the accessory voltage and the DC voltage to the mobile platform via the AC pins and the DC pins, respectively.

Abstract: Systems and methods for routing traffic through a network along Label-Switched Paths (LSPs) that may extend across multiple autonomous systems include performing Internet Protocol (IP) routing lookups as a packet is transmitted along the LSP. In one implementation, a packet having a predetermined value (which may be inserted by an upstream network device) is received at a network device after travelling along a first segment of an LSP. In response to identifying the predetermined label value of the packet, the network device may perform an IP routing lookup using IP routing information included in the packet to identify a next hop for the packet. The network device may then update a label of the packet such that the packet is routed along a second segment of the LSP and transmit the communication packet to the next hop.
Abstract: Compositions and methods for producing elevated blood levels of ketone bodies and modifying metabolic function in a mammal. Compositions include at least one ester of S-beta-hydroxybutyrate and/or a mono- or di-ester of S-1,3-butanediol and at least one ketone body component. The ketone body component includes beta-hydroxybutyrate, acetoacetate, or both. The beta-hydroxybutyrate is R-beta-hydroxybutyrate, S-beta-hydroxybutyrate, or both. When the ketone body component is S-beta-hydroxybutyrate, the 1,3-butanediol is R-1,3-butanediol, S-1,3-butanediol, or both. Compositions may comprise a keto stack of multiple forms of ketone bodies.
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for a computing system that allows users to control the disclosure of their identities during communication sessions. Users can control the disclosure of their identities with respect to certain types of shared content. In one mode of operation, a user can share content anonymously. In another mode of operation, identity may be revealed when certain conditions are met or revealed to only certain other users. For example, the identity of a user who shared a comment anonymously may be revealed if multiple other users agree with that comment. In another mode of operation, the user's identity is revealed to all other users such as in a live video stream. The computing system can control display of users' identities based on user instructions or based on triggering conditions. A user interface (UI) can show content items that identify a user together with content items that are shared anonymously.

Abstract: Improved HMDs are described. The HMD is configured to provide higher resolution image content within a central area of a display of the HMD and to provide lower resolution image content within peripheral areas of the display. The HMD includes a higher resolution camera, a first lower resolution camera, and a second lower resolution camera. The FOV of the first lower resolution camera minimally overlaps the FOV of the higher resolution camera, and the FOV of the second lower resolution camera minimally overlaps the FOV of the higher resolution camera. The minimal overlap is less than 10 degrees. By structuring the HMD in this manner, the HMD can generate merged images that mimic a user's foveal vision acuity.

Abstract: A torque transmission device (100) includes a variator of a continuously variable unit (CVU) (20) arranged in parallel with a layshaft gearset (30). Abstract: A containment sump has a primary container and a secondary container which extends only partway up the outer wall of the primary container. This “low-rise” secondary container, in certain embodiments, cooperates with the primary container to create a hermetically sealed interstitial space encompassing the bottom of the primary container, including the lower portion of the upright containment wall and the container bottom. In alternative embodiments, the secondary container is a subassembly forming an interstitial space and joined as a subassembly to the primary container. More particularly, the upper end of the interstitial space may be below pipe or other conduit penetrations through the sidewall of the primary container. At the same time, any leak which may develop over the service life of the containment sump would be contained and detected within the bottom of the primary and/or secondary containers.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Artemisia hybrid plant named ‘G18123’ is disclosed, characterized by compact, densely branched plants with mounded habits. The densely branching plants produce abundant vegetative terminal cuttings which have been shown to root easily. Foliage is small with shallow apical lobes and strong silver coloration. Plants frequently do not flower in the garden and have exceptional cold tolerance, observed to survive cold temperatures in USDA zone 5, both in the ground and in containers. The new variety is an Artemisia, and is normally used as a garden or container plant.
