Abstract: A drive sense circuit comprises an analog front-end and a digital back end. The analog front-end generates an analog drive sense signal based on an analog reference signal that includes a varying component. The varying component has a magnitude that is substantially less than a supply rail power of the drive sense circuit. When the drive sense circuit is coupled to a load, the analog front end drives the load with the analog drive-sense signal and detects an analog signal variation in the analog drive-sense signal based on a characteristic of the load. The digital back-end converts the analog signal variation into a digital sensed value corresponding to the characteristic of the load.

Abstract: A communication system for statically allocating physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources on a PUCCH. The communication system includes a base station configured to exchange radio frequency (RF) signals with a plurality of user equipment terminals (UEs). The base station is also configured to identify two PUCCH resources, each sharing the same orthogonal code sequence and located in different resource block of adjacent slots of a subframe. The base station is also configured to statically allocate the two PUCCH resources to two of the UEs, where both UEs are legacy UEs or Category-M1 (Cat-M1) UEs.

Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control messages. The one or more radio resource control messages comprise configuration parameters of semi-persistent channel state information (CSI) reports for transmission via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of a first cell in a timing advance group. A downlink control information (DCI) indicating activation of semi-persistent CSI is received via PUSCH resources of the PUSCH of the first cell. In response to a time alignment timer of the timing advance group expiring, first PUSCH resources of the PUSCH resources are cleared. The first PUSCH resources occur after the time alignment timer expires.

Abstract: A method for treating or preventing one of a fungal infection of a nail and a condition of a skin surface excluding an oral cavity. The method includes the step of applying a composition to one of a nail surface adjacent to the infection of the nail and the skin surface having the condition. The composition comprises a plant-based bioactive and between about 0.2% to about 3.0% by weight of a metal chlorite salt. The composition does not contain a therapeutically effective amount of chlorine dioxide.

The system may include a waste detector mounted onboard a service vehicle and configured to capture image data of a receptacle encountered by the service vehicle. The system may also include a display, and a controller in communication with the waste detector and the display. The controller may be configured to recognize the receptacle within the image data, and to determine a fill status of the receptacle based on the image data. The controller may also be configured to selectively determine a customer recommendation for a different sized receptacle based on the fill status, and to cause a dispatch to provide the different sized receptacle based on the customer recommendation.

In one embodiment, the application pertains to a process for producing calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, or both from a material comprising calcium and magnesium. The process may include reacting a material comprising calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Separating, concentrating, and calcining may lead to the production of oxides such as calcium oxide or magnesium oxide. In other embodiments the application pertains to methods for producing an alkaline-earth oxide and a carboxylic acid from an alkaline earth cation-carboxylic acid anion salt. Such processes may include, for example, reacting an alkaline-earth cation-carboxylic acid anion salt with aqueous sulfur dioxide to produce aqueous alkaline-earth-bisulfite and aqueous carboxylic acid solution. Other useful steps may include desorbing, separating, and/or calcining.

Abstract: Computer implemented methods, according to various embodiments, comprise: (1) integrating a privacy management system with DLP tools; (2) using the DLP tools to identify sensitive information that is stored in computer memory outside of the context of the privacy management system; and (3) in response to the sensitive data being discovered by the DLP tool, displaying each area of sensitive data to a privacy officer (e.g., similar to pending transactions in a checking account that have not been reconciled). A designated privacy officer may then select a particular entry and either match it up (e.g., reconcile it) with an existing data flow or campaign in the privacy management system, or trigger a new privacy assessment to be done on the data to capture the related privacy attributes and data flow information.

Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses for optimizing a cellular network using machine learning. In particular, a resource control module of a user equipment (UE) 110 selects a particular disconnected state 214 based on a power status of the UE 110. If the power status is sufficient to support an inactive state 216, the UE 110 transitions to the inactive state 216 to enable a connection with a base station 120 to be quickly resumed. Alternatively, if the power status is insufficient for the inactive state 216, the UE 110 transitions to the idle state 218 to conserve power. In some cases, the UE 110 dynamically switches between different disconnected states 214 responsive to changes in the power status. By determining a resource control state 210 based on the power status, the UE 110 balances communication responsiveness and power consumption to support mobile operation.

The apparatus further includes a piston disposed in the annulus and having an outer surface facing uphole within the annulus, the piston being in mechanical communication with a setting sleeve of the plug, wherein displacement of the setting sleeve causes setting of a slip and a seal of the plug.
