Abstract: One embodiment provides a system, method, and device for processing inaudible tones. Content is received from one or more sources. One or more inaudible tones included in the content are detected. Information is associated with the one or more inaudible tones from the content are extracted. Usage information associated with the content is determined in response to the information. The usage information includes at least licensing information and content information. The usage information is communicated to one or more parties associated with the content.

Abstract: The disclosed bandgap circuit is configured to provide a temperature stable reference current and/or voltage that is also adjustable. The stability can be facilitated by an improved matching of current mirrors provided by a source degeneration topology. The source degeneration can reduce random mismatches without requiring increased size or complexity of the current mirrors and can facilitate operation of the current mirrors in a weak inversion condition, in which random mismatches may be most severe. Further, the source degeneration may be adjusted to adjust a level and/or a temperature coefficient of the generated reference current and/or voltage.

Abstract: Improved solenoid controllers and control methods. One illustrative solenoid control method embodiment includes: supplying a drive signal to a solenoid, the drive signal having: an average current corresponding to a desired position of an armature, and a dither current having a dither amplitude that produces an associated solenoid voltage variation; varying the dither amplitude in a region insufficient to overcome static friction of the armature; determining a linear relationship between the dither amplitude and the associated solenoid voltage variation in said region; increasing the dither amplitude while monitoring the associated solenoid voltage variation for a deviation below the voltage variation indicated by the linear relationship; and upon detecting said deviation, employing a corresponding dither amplitude to maintain mobility of the armature.

The method includes forming a distal end assembly, forming a proximal end assembly, and forming a flexible circuit coupling the distal end assembly to the proximal end assembly. The distal end assembly, the proximal end assembly and the flexible circuit are formed over an inner member. An outer member is placed over the combination of the distal end assembly, the proximal end assembly and the flexible circuit. The outer member and circuit are fused adjacent the distal end assembly to the proximal end assembly.

Abstract: The present technology provides compositions that include at least about 98 weight percent (“wt %”) n-paraffins which, among other surprising features, may be suitable for use as a diesel fuel, an aviation fuel, a jet fuel blendstock, a blendstock to reduce the cloud point of a diesel fuel, a fuel for portable heaters, and/or as a charcoal lighter fluid. The composition includes at least about 98 wt % C7-C12 n-paraffins, where at least about 10 wt % of composition includes n-decane, at least about 20 wt % of the composition includes n-dodecane, and at least about 75 wt % of the composition includes even carbon number paraffins. The composition also includes less about 0.1 wt % oxygenates and less than about 0.1 wt % aromatics. The composition may be produced by a process that includes hydrotreating a biorenewable feedstock comprising at least one of palm kernel oil, coconut oil, babassu oil, microbial oil, or algal oil.

The storage entity may have a first protocol level personality and identity when presented to the host over the first path and a second protocol level personality and identity when presented to the host over the second path. A first native identifier associated of the storage entity on the first path and a second native identifier of the storage entity on the second path may be used to determine that the same storage entity is visible over the first and second paths even though the storage entity may have different protocol level identifiers on the first and second paths that operate using different protocols.

Abstract: Techniques for performing management operations may include: creating a job using a graphical user interface (GUI) of an application, wherein the job includes at least one task and the job performs a first management operation including the at least one task; storing first information that describes the job in an application database for the application; and performing first processing that generates a code module for the job, wherein said first processing uses the first information from the application database. The code module may be a script written in a target script language. Multiple providers may converts different types of tasks to scripts. The providers may register prior to performing the first processing. Registering may include each provider declaring each type of task the provider converts to a specified target scripting language. The task types may be organized in a hierarchy of classes or categories.

When the authenticity indicator indicates an authentic status, the method further includes determining, based on an updated knowledge database, an updated set of identigens for each word of the statement to produce updated sets of identigens. The method further includes interpreting, based on the updated knowledge database, the updated sets of identigens to produce an updated entigen group. The method further includes updating the blockchain-encoded record to represent the statement and the updated entigen group to facilitate subsequent utilization of an updated validated interpretation of the statement as the updated entigen group.

Abstract: A two-capacitor digital-to-analog converter circuit having circuitry to compensate for an unwanted capacitance is disclosed. The converter is configured to generate an average voltage on two capacitors for a sequence of bits in a digital word so that when the final bit is reached, the average voltage corresponds to an analog level of the digital word. The converter is configured to input and average the voltage on the two capacitors using different modes to minimize the effects of capacitor mismatch and switching capacitance on the accuracy of the conversion. The converter includes a buffer amp that has an input capacitance that can affect the conversion. Accordingly, the converter further includes capacitance compensation circuitry configured to provide a replica input capacitance that can be charged and discharged according to the bits of the digital word and coupled to the input capacitor to prevent the input capacitance from affecting the conversion.

The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive a polarimetric image from a polarimetric camera sensor, and to identify a road surface in the received image based on a vehicle location, an orientation of the camera sensor, and a vehicle pose. The memory stores instructions, upon identifying, in the polarimetric image, polarized light reflections from the identified road surface based on a polarization direction and a polarization degree determined from the polarimetric image, to remove the identified polarized light reflections from the polarimetric image, thereby generating an updated polarimetric image including generating a de-mosaicked imaged based on the identified polarized light reflections, wherein the identified polarized light reflections are ignored at de-mosaicking, and to identify a road feature including a lane marking based on the updated polarimetric image.

An electrical conductor assembly includes an outer sheath, an electrical conductor extending through the sheath, a coolant channel defined through the sheath, and an optional cable jacket encasing the electrical conductor. The outer sheath has a tubular body formed from an electrically insulating material. The electrical conductor has a solid cable body located within a conductor duct extending through the sheath. The coolant channel, which is coaxial with and thermally connected to the cable body, passes therethrough coolant fluid that cools the electrical conductor. The cable jacket may be formed from an electrically insulating material having a thermal conductivity and melting point higher than that of the sheath.
