The image processing device includes a memory storing one or more instructions, and at least one processor processing circuitry, and memory storing one or more instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the image processing device to obtain a neural network model corresponding to a quality of an input image and viewing information related to the input image. Abstract: In an approach, a processor performs document layout analysis on a document generating a plurality of textual regions; extracts characteristics from each of the plurality of textual regions and associates the respective characteristics to the respective textual region as metadata; classifies each of the plurality of textual regions as an optical character recognition (OCR) region, non-OCR valuable region, or non-OCR non-valuable region using a classifier; performs OCR on each OCR region generating an OCR output; identifies associated constant OCR data from a constant OCR data repository for each non-OCR valuable region; merges the associated constant OCR data with the OCR output generating a complete OCR data for the received document; performs data extraction on the complete OCR data to identify data fields and key-value pairs generating extracted data; and determines whether the extracted data is valid based on a set of rules.

Abstract: Methods of hyperthermic treatment, including heating a tissue to a temperature range of 40° C. to 45° C., and exposing the heated tissue to a magnetic field having a field strength that is capable of extending the lifetime of a free radical entity within the heated tissue. Abstract: A platform, device and process for capturing images of the surface of a gaming table and determining the quantity, identity, and arrangement of chips bet at a gaming table. Image data is captured corresponding to the one or more chips positioned in at least one betting area on a gaming surface of the respective gaming table and the data is processed to use a machine learning based approach to classify the chips using a combination of a depth information channel and at least one of a red channel, the green channel, and the blue channel.

Abstract: Auto-injector for administering a dose of a liquid medicament includes a housing to contain a syringe with a hollow needle and a stopper for sealing the syringe and displacing the medicament, the housing having a distal end and a proximal end with an orifice to apply against an injection site. A spring means, upon activation, can push the needle from inside the housing through the orifice and past the proximal end, operate the syringe to supply the dose of medicament, and retract the syringe with the needle after delivering the medicament. An activating means can lock the spring means in a pressurized state prior to manual operation and capable of, upon manual operation, releasing the spring means for injection.

Abstract: A device and system thereof to provide early warning and potential shutdown of a charging consumer device including a rechargeable battery (i.e., lithium-ion) in the event of a possible thermal runaway are disclosed herein. Such a device includes a sensor to detect degassing of emitted carbon dioxide or hydrogen gas at a nanoparticle level as an indication of the initiation of such a possible flame presence due to such a thermal runaway event. Such a system thus incorporates such an overall device present within a close proximity to a rechargeable battery (or batteries) as a means to provide an early warning of such a potentially catastrophic situation to permit a user the capability of detaching or unplugging such a rechargeable battery and/or at least the chance to move the consumer device to a safer location. The method of utilizing such a device and system thereof is encompassed herein as well.

Abstract: A method for laser welding a metal foil stack to a metal substrate includes clamping the foil stack against a support surface of a substrate and irradiating the stack with a beam of laser pulses to weld the foils to the substrate. The beam is a composite beam including a center beam and a surrounding annular beam. An initial series of the laser pulses are incident on the stack at mutually distinct locations on a top surface of the stack, and a subsequent series of the laser pulses are incident on the stack at mutually distinct locations on a side of the stack. The resulting weld nuggets penetrate deeply into the stack, with an average penetration depth that exceeds an average pitch between the weld nuggets. The method is capable of welding more than 100 foils to the substrate. Welded assemblies have been demonstrated to withstand large shear forces.

Abstract: The disclosure comprises a power management system. The system includes a cable bracket that functions as a modular power connector to a chassis of a processor. The cable bracket can comprise a lock device such that the lock device to interlock the cable bracket with the chassis. The lock device is configured to engage and disengage from the chassis. The bracket can be configured to function as an electrical conduit between the chassis of the processor and a power bus bar and wherein the bracket comprises a first electrical connector configured to engage the chassis and a second electrical connector configured to engage the power bus bar.
