Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a highly thermally conductive composite material in which PITCH-based carbon fiber is stitched into a prepreg laminate in which a prepreg including carbon fiber and a thermosetting resin is laminated, and a method for manufacturing the same, and the highly thermally conductive composite material may have excellent through-thickness thermal conductivity, in-plane thermal conductivity and strength.

Abstract: Provided is a map information processing device which contributes to the improvement of high-precision map verification performance by generating road information at a traffic lane level for a verification purpose by functioning as a means for extracting a road area corresponding to a road and a demarcation line corresponding to a traffic lane from an aerial image (for example, a ground photo photographed from an aircraft or a satellite), inferring the position of an object/structure (occlusion) which may cover the road, determining whether or not the demarcation line in the vicinity of the occlusion forms a continuous line by using the inferred occlusion position and demarcation line information, and next determining whether or not the traffic lane in the vicinity of the occlusion has continuity such that a misunderstanding about the continuity of the road when the presence of no occlusion is possible can be avoided to suppress the inclusion of incorrect information.

Abstract: Provided is voltage regulator circuit including an input node for receiving an input supply voltage, an output node for producing an output regulated voltage, and a switchable pass element arranged between the input and output nodes. A comparator circuit compares the output regulated voltage to a dynamic threshold to produce a control signal to control the switchable pass element. The control signal being asserted results in the switchable pass element being turned on, and vice-versa. A threshold selection and shaping circuit shapes the output regulated voltage or the dynamic threshold so that: (i) in response to assertion of the control signal, the difference between the dynamic threshold and the output regulated voltage is abruptly increased and subsequently gradually decreased towards a target static value, and (ii) in response to de-assertion of the control signal, the difference is abruptly increased and subsequently gradually decreased towards a target static value.
Abstract: A DC-SCM composable BIOS system includes a DC-MHS computing device having a DC-SCM device with a BIOS subsystem and a BIOS configuration database. During initialization operations for the DC-SCM device that are part of an initialization of the DC-MHS computing device, the DC-SCM device determines that the DC-SCM device requires a BIOS image to be composed in order to operate with the DC-MHS computing device, and identifies a DC-MHS computing device processing system configuration and a DC-MHS computing device hardware configuration of the DC-MHS computing device. The DC-SCM device then retrieves BIOS modules from the BIOS configuration database based on the DC-MHS computing device processing system configuration and the DC-MHS computing device hardware configuration of the DC-MHS computing device, and uses them to compose the BIOS image. The DC-SCM device then provides the BIOS image in the BIOS subsystem, and causes a second initialization of the DC-MHS computing device.

Abstract: Optimizing lossy compression for classification models with unlabeled data is disclosed. In determining a compression quality, a global KL divergence threshold for input data is determined. If a divergence between the KL divergence of data and perturbed data is less than the global KL divergence threshold, a classifier will perform within a percentage of its original accuracy. A relationship between the compression quality {circumflex over (q)}nd the KL divergences of the compressed and decompressed data, after being processed by the classifier is determined. An optimal compression quality is determined based on the global KL divergence threshold and the relationship.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards routing, by a mobile network operator, a message to a messaging hub associated with a partner carrier or to the partner carrier itself. In response to receiving a message to reroute, a data store (e.g., an ENUM database) is queried to attempt to obtain information corresponding to the routing. For example, when the query response includes a regular expression that specifies a domain, the domain is evaluated against a data structure of respective messaging hubs associated with respective domains. If the returned domain is matched such that an associated messaging hub is identified, the message is routed to the identified messaging hub; otherwise a mobile network partner carrier is determined based on the telephone number of the message recipient, and the message is routed to the determined partner carrier.

Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a node communicates with a central communication unit via at least one access point. An operating method of the communication node includes receiving, at the node, a wireless signal from the access point; determining, by the node, channel quality information based on the received wireless signal; and determining, by the node, an order of active channels ranked according to the determined channel quality. The operating method further includes selecting, by the node, an active channel for transmitting wireless signals in accordance with the determined order; and transmitting, by the node, wireless signals on the selected, active channel. The access point is configured to filter a message. When operating the access point in a beacon transmit mode, the access point transmits wireless beacon data to the node. In a listening mode, the access point relays data received from the node to the central communication unit.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques for efficient development of initial models and efficient model update and/or adaptation to a different image domain using an adaptive learning framework. For efficient development of initial models, a two-step development strategy may be performed as follows: Phase 1: Model preconditioning, where an artificial intelligence system leverages existing annotated datasets and improves learning skills through training of these datasets; and Phase 2: Target-model training, where an artificial intelligence system utilizes the learning skills learned from Phase 1 to extend itself to a different image domain (target domain) with less number of annotations required in the target domain than conventional learning methods.
