Abstract: A folding knife locking structure which comprises a locking bridge, a button washer, a screw washer, a button, a spindle, a spindle screw, a locking spring and a button spring is disclosed. The locking bridge of the invention can be pushed by the locking spring and automatically inserted into a locking groove or a closing groove arranged on a cutting edge according to a rotation angle of the cutting edge, so as to automatically achieve a locking effect. A locking contact surface is arranged on the locking bridge and is divided into a flat section and an inclined section with different angles, thereby achieving double effects of wear compensation and locking insurance. The operation of manual safety is not needed. The invention has the advantages of control convenience and locking firmness. An operation gesture does not need a finger to appear on a return path of the cutting edge.
Abstract: A system and method for treating heart failure of a patient by occluding blood flow from the azygos vein to the superior vena cava while allowing blood to flow through a shunt from the right pulmonary artery to the azygos vein. The system can include an occluder with an expandable cage positioned in the azygos vein to selectively control the flow of blood to the superior vena cava. The occluder can expand and collapse based on pressure measurements received from implanted pressure sensors.

Abstract: Additive manufacturing systems and associated methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the additive manufacturing includes a build chamber that has a central portion and a peripheral portion, a support platform positioned in the central portion and a recoater arm movable in a lateral direction over the support platform. While moving, the recoater arm spreads a powder over the central portion during a build. The additive manufacturing system also includes a powder recycling system positioned to redirect excess amounts of the powder during the build. For example, the powder recycling system can include a powder receptacle positioned the second region of the peripheral portion and a recycling element positioned at least partially in the powder receptacle. The recycling element is movable between a first position abutting an overflow space in the powder receptacle to receive the excess powder and a second position closer to the central portion.
