  • Patent number: 12080287
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to using voice interaction to access call functionality of a companion device. In an example process, a user utterance is received. Based on the user utterance and contextual information, the process causes a server to determine a user intent corresponding to the user utterance. The contextual information is based on a signal received from the companion device. In accordance with the user intent corresponding to an actionable intent of answering the incoming call, a command is received. Based on the command, instructions are provided to the companion device, which cause the companion device to answer the incoming call and provide audio data of the answered incoming call. Audio is outputted according to the audio data of the answered incoming call.

  • Patent number: 12081892
Abstract: Embodiments relate to detecting a timeout error on receipt of valid pixel data from an image sensor by a sensor interface circuit. When the valid pixel data is not timely received at the sensor interface circuit, a timeout error signal is generated by the sensor interface circuit. A time limit for determining the timeout error signal may be defined by a global clock that provides a clock signal to the sensor interface circuit and other circuits. As a result, the sensor interface circuit generates a dummy frame and sends out the dummy frame to subsequent circuits so that the timeout error does not bottleneck subsequent processing stages. In contrast, if the valid pixel data is timely received, sensor data received from the image sensor is unpacked into a frame of pixels.

  • Patent number: 12082067
Abstract: A computer system that establishes a first registration and a second registration in a common wireless communication system is described. During operation, the computer system performs a first registration of the user equipment over a first access, where, after the first registration, the user equipment is connected via the first access with a first access and mobility management function (AMF). Then, the computer system performs a second registration of the user equipment over a second access, where the second access is different from the first access and, after the second registration, the user equipment is connected via the second access with a second AMF. Moreover, when performing the second registration, the computer system: transfers a context of the user equipment from the first AMF to the second AMF; and/or relocates a network interface in a control plane from the first AMF to the second AMF.

  • Patent number: 12081254
Abstract: A dynamic specific absorption rate (SAR) may be implemented by monitoring and controlling power utilization of the various radio frequency (RF) emitting components over time within a mobile device. Power utilization may be tracked and modified to control the time-averaged RF exposure over a rolling time window. Periodically calculations of the updated rolling averages for RF transmissions may be performed based on the transmission data received from the mobile device components, and the continuously updated rolling averages of RF transmissions may be compared to time-average power utilization limits. Based on such comparisons, the mobile device may dynamically adjust the current transmissions of the radio transceivers and other RF emitting components on the mobile device.
