  • Patent number: 10271409
Abstract: Each of multiple components, including a first lamp, is operable in a first mode in which it appears to a commissioning tool as awaiting commissioning, and a second mode in which it does not appear as such to the commissioning tool. Each component begins a commissioning process in the first mode. The first lamp then triggers a second one or more of the components (e.g. other lamps) to switch to the second mode, so that during commissioning the second components will not to appear to the commissioning tool as awaiting commissioning. Following this, the first lamp operates in the first mode so that it appears to the commissioning tool as awaiting commissioning (thereby representing the first and second lamps jointly). The first lamp also interacts with the commissioning tool on behalf of the second components, in order for the first lamp and second components to be commissioned as a group.

  • Patent number: 10271389
Abstract: Converters (1) comprise switches (14) for in response to control signals controlling amplitudes of converter output signals and comprise control loops for in response to detections of the amplitudes of the converter output signals producing the control signals. The control loops comprise circuits (21-23) for in response to simple detections of the amplitudes counting a first number of first time-intervals for which the amplitudes are above or below reference amplitudes, for transforming counting results into the control signals having control values, and for in response to the first number of first time-intervals being equal to/larger than a reference number overruling the control values and producing control signals having first or second limit values. Complex detections of the amplitudes are no longer necessary.

  • Patent number: 10270448
Abstract: A level shifter circuit is described herein for shifting a signal from a first voltage domain to a second voltage domain. The level shifter circuit includes two current paths between a supply terminal of the first voltage domain and a supply terminal of the second voltage domain. The first and second current paths each include a differential transistor that receives a signal from a pulse generator in a first voltage domain. The pulse generator provides pulses to the differential transistors based on an input signal to be translated to the second voltage domain. The level shifter includes a latch circuit in the second voltage domain that includes two inputs where each input is biased at a node of one of the current paths. Each current path includes a bias transistor whose control terminal receives a compensated biasing voltage for biasing the bias transistor. The compensated biasing voltage is compensated to account for drive strength variation of at least one transistor in each current path.

  • Patent number: 10267702
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to force sensors. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a force-responsive component having a resonant frequency, and a circuit that compensates for variations with the force-responsive component. The force-responsive component moves in response to an applied force, in accordance with a spring constant that is susceptible to fluctuation. The compensation circuit determines Brownian motion of the force-responsive component at the resonant frequency based on temperature, and generates an output based on the determined Brownian motion and movement of the force-responsive component. Such an output is indicative of force applied to the apparatus.
