Abstract: Measurement system and method are presented for determining spatial distribution of chemical elements in a sample. The system comprises a measurement unit and a control system. The measurement unit is adapted to produce primary radiation having spectral characteristic adapted to excite a number M of chemical elements in the sample to induce secondary radiation responses, and generate spectral measured data indicative of intensity of detected responses. The primary radiation interacting with the sample includes a sequence of two or more encoded radiation patterns of the primary radiation, each having its predetermined spatial intensity pattern. The measured spectral data includes a sequence of data pieces, each being modulated by the respective one of the two or more predetermined spatial intensity patterns of the encoded primary radiation and characterized by sparsity in spectral domain with respect to each spectral component of the secondary radiation response.

  • Publication number: 20230341744
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating cluster quantum states usable for quantum computing. An example system can generate a plurality of qumodes. The plurality of qumodes can include at least two successive qumodes in frequency domain, wherein a frequency spacing between two successive qumodes is equal to a free-spectral range of an optical frequency comb. The plurality of qumodes can include a plurality of bipartite entangled states. A cluster quantum state can be generated by modulating a phase of a portion of the optical fields associated with the plurality of qumodes received from the optical frequency comb, at one or more modulation frequencies. In some embodiments, each of the one or more modulation frequencies can be equal to an integral multiple of the free-spectral-range. In certain embodiments, a property of a cluster graph (such as a dimension of the cluster graph) associated with the cluster quantum state can be controlled by adjusting one or more modulation frequencies.

  • Publication number: 20230263661
Abstract: The present invention enables assisting in manipulation and movement of intraocular particles in order to treat various ocular conditions. It enables controlling intra-ocular particles using acoustic wave forces. The novel technique of the present invention utilizes acoustic radiation forces for non-invasive control over movement of the pathologic intraocular particles, preventing them from unwanted accumulation and obstruction of intraocular structures, or causing visual disturbances. Acoustic forces can be harnessed to non-invasively organize various types of endogenous and exogenous particles within the anterior chamber of the eye, without any sign of tissue damage.
