Abstract: A coating composition based on amines, aldimines and isocyanates which forms a polyurea coating or film. These coating compositions are especially useful in the automotive refinish industry due to the cure rate at ambient conditions. The coatings of these compositions can be useful for obtaining low VOC (Volatile Organic Content) levels.

Abstract: A yarn twister mechanically twists a filamentary yarn prior to take-up so as to improve filament-to-filament cohesion. The yarn twister most preferably includes an annular housing defining an annular race in which a follower element is orbitally movable. Pressurized fluid (e.g., air) is introduced substantially tangentially into the race so as to propel the follower in an orbital path along the race. The follower includes a yarn guide element which radially extends through an annular slot in the housing into the housing's cylindrical interior region. The pressurized fluid is discharged through the slot into the cylindrical interior region of the housing so as to provide a fluid bearing for the follower. In use, the traveling yarn will thereby be guided through the yarn guide so that orbital movement of the follower will responsively impart a desirable twist to the yarn so as to increase the filament-to-filament cohesion of the yarn.

Abstract: A pack for stacked articles with at least an identical base area, for example rectangular or square, comprises two adhesive strips which do not have lines of weakness or tearing lines and are provided at least on the narrow sides of the stack. The material is recyclable and corresponds as far as possible to the other packaging material. A gripping aid facilitates the largely non-destructive pulling off of the adhesive strips for individually separating the articles. The pack can be used for all rectangularly shaped articles such as cuboids, cubes, disks etc.

Abstract: A method for reducing the abrasiveness of a coated product web is described, in which the product web is guided with its coated side over a deflection roller (2) and thereafter, in the course of a contact zone over guide rollers and deflection rollers or linear zones in between, is treated with itself, ie. once again with an abrasive surface.
