Patent number: 10710786Abstract: Improved object wrapping materials exhibiting a number of beneficial properties to overcome prior deficiencies are provided. Such properties include the inclusion of a separation interface overlay that allows for greater rigidity at the leading and trailing edges of such wraps. Also, the inclusion of shear-reducing wrap material portions is described, as well as recoil reduction structures within the leading edge regions. Furthermore, core adhesive additions allow for greater resiliency to the base wrap material as it unwinds therefrom, reducing potential waste wrap products by permitting greater amounts of wrap materials in use. Other considerations include the ability, through proper configuration designs, to position a wrap separation indicator within a certain range of distances from the trailing edge, thereby providing greater reliability of wrap application device disengagement during wrap application.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2017Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Assignee: L.P. Patent number: 10634448Abstract: An archery bow with a riser including a mount in a centerline plane of the riser above a lower wall of a sight window of the riser may allow for a novel manner of mounting an archery accessory. Placement of the mount within a centerline plane of the riser may maintain the weight of the archery accessory along a center of the bow, thereby reducing or eliminating asymmetrically weighted bows or the need for an additional stabilizer to balance the weight of the archery accessory. Positioning the mount above the lower wall of the sight window additionally allows for coordination of the position of a secondary accessory, such as a sight, a light, or a camera, in addition to mounting an arrow rest, such as in a lower wall of the sight window, while maintaining the centralized weight advantages noted above.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2018Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: BROWN INNOVATIONS, LLCInventor: Kevin E. Patent number: 10584963Abstract: A method obtains the shape of a target by projecting and recording images of dual frequency fringe patterns. Locations in each projector image plane are encoded into the patterns and projected onto die target while images are recorded. The resulting images show the patterns superimposed onto the target. The images are decoded to recover relative phase values for the patterns primary and dual frequencies. The relative phases are unwrapped into absolute phases and converted back to projector image plane locations. The relation between camera pixels and decoded projector locations is saved as a correspondence image representing the measured shape of the target. Correspondence images with a geometric triangulation method create a 3D model of the target. Dual frequency hinge patterns have a low frequency embedded into a high frequency sinusoidal, both frequencies are recovered in closed form by the decoding method, thus, enabling direct phase unwrapping.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2018Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: BROWN UNIVERSITYInventors: Gabriel Taubin, Daniel Moreno
