  • Patent number: 4734689
Abstract: A display apparatus includes a document memory for storing data, a display section for displaying the data stored in a desired storage area of the document memory on a screen, and a scroll controller for designating data to be displayed on the display section and designating a cursor position to be displayed. When a cursor is located outside of a predetermined range on the screen, if a cursor-up or-down movement command is input, the displayed data is scrolled without moving the cursor position. When the cursor is located in the predetermined range on the screen, if the cursor-up or - down movement command is input, the cursor position changes in accordance with the command, and the displayed data is not scrolled.

  • Patent number: 4733271
Abstract: An image reproduction apparatus capable of reproducing the images which are recorded on the original and on the board sheet which is able to move is used. The image reproducing apparatus consists of the board section including the board formed as a sheet and the reproducing section capable of moving forward or backward to the board section. A detecting means for detecting the position in which the reproducing section is towards the board section is arranged on the board section and the reproducing section. The image reproduction apparatus confirms the position at which the reproducing section is outputted according to the detecting means, and thus the image reproduction apparatus reproduces the image on the board sheet and on the original.

  • Patent number: 4731871
Abstract: A tuning device of a liquid crystal television at first tunes by a PLL synthesizer system, and then maintains an obtained tuning voltage by an AFT signal for deciding an intermediate frequency after the PLL tuning. The device interrupts the power to at least the prescaler of the PLL loop when in the AFT mode, to reduce overall power consumption.

  • Patent number: 4729107
Abstract: In a pattern data conversion processing system, one-character pattern data generated by a character generator is divided by a shift register into a plurality of basic pattern data. The divided basic pattern data are sequentially subjected to enlargement, 90.degree. conversion or nonrotational conversion by using a 4/3 times elongation conversion ROM, a double elongation/90.degree. conversion ROM and a bypass circuit. The converted one-character data is stored in a one-character ROM and, as such, the one-character pattern data from the one-character ROM is stored by a direct memory access controller (DMAC) into a frame memory. When 180.degree. conversion is designated, the one-character data is subjected to 90.degree. conversion, and the converted data is stored in the frame memory. The pattern data from the frame memory is transferred by the DMAC to a page printer which then prints the transferred data.

  • Patent number: 4727244
Abstract: The data representing the ability and function of the hardware of an IC card as prestored in the IC card is read out from the IC card in response to a reset signal applied from a card terminal. The read out data is stored in the card terminal via a connection terminal. In this card terminal, the operating conditions inside the card terminal are variably set according to the stored data, whereby the compatibility of the IC card with the card terminal is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 4722593
Abstract: A liquid-crystal projector reduces outer portions of a light beam corresponding to a projection image from a liquid-crystal display panel illuminated with light from a light source by a light beam width reduction lens array in order to increase the luminance of the outer beam portions. The projection image passing through the light beam width reduction lens array is compensated for attenuation in luminance of the outer beam portions, and is then projected onto a screen surface through a projection lens system.
