Abstract: A method for simulating a rendering of a makeup product on a body area including the steps of: acquiring an image of the body area without makeup of a subject, determining first color parameters of the pixels of the image corresponding to the body area without makeup, identifying the pixels of the body area without makeup exhibiting highest brightness or red component value, and determining second color parameters of the pixels of the image corresponding to the body area, wherein the second color parameters render a making up of the body area by the makeup product.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for selecting a cosmetic product, and a method for image acquisition and image processing for the selection method, including: acquiring an image of a person in a controlled lighting environment, and measuring and recording the colorimetric coordinates of the person's face; processing the image to determine an absolute value of the skin tone; correlating the absolute value with a usage color map established for each of multiple cosmetic products of a database by measuring the color of each cosmetic product under its conditions of use, and to determine a personalized color matrix; extracting, from the database, the cosmetic product(s) whose color measurement is part of the personalized color matrix; using an information medium, presenting the product(s) included in the personalized color matrix; and optionally selecting the preferred product(s) chosen by the person from those that are part of the personalized color matrix.

Abstract: Disclosed is a microemulsion of oil-in-water type including, preferably consisting of, by weight relative to the total weight of microemulsion: •70% to 94% of water, •1% to 15% of at least one hydrophobic fragrancing substance, •4% to 20% of at least one preferably volatile solvo-surfactant, and •0.1% to 15%, preferably 1% to 13%, of at least one hydrotropic agent or at least one surfactant selected from anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants and non-ionic surfactants. Abstract: A cosmetic composition including, in a continuous aqueous phase, at least one colouring agent chosen from hydrophobic treated nacres, at least one hydrophilic gelling agent and water. Also, a method for preparing such a cosmetic composition, to a method for makeup of keratin materials using same, and to the use of this cosmetic composition in order to obtain an aqueous metallic effect or “mirror effect” on the keratin materials.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for building a neural network tool to determine, by processing a picture of a human face, a score representative of a qualitative feature of the face, including performing a training session of an initial neural network to assess, from the picture, an estimated age of the person. The initial neural network includes layers of neurons and associated weights, and each training session is performed on a first database of face images with associated ages, and each training session outputs an updated version of the neural network with adjusted weights. For each updated version of the initial neural network corresponding to a training session, evaluating an error of part of the initial neural network on another database of images with each associated with a reference score representing the qualitative feature, selecting the part of the initial neural network in the updated version corresponding to the minimum.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for analyzing facial features of a person, including the steps of: acquiring a picture of the face of the person; delimiting, on the picture, at least two zones of the face of the person; processing the picture to determine contrast values of each of the at least two zones; and based on the determined contrast values, determining a cluster to which the person pertains among a plurality of pre-established clusters, with the pre-established clusters being elaborated based on a set of contrast values determined for the same zones of the faces of a reference population in respective pictures of the faces; and providing the person with personalized information, wherein the personalized information depends on the cluster to which the person pertains.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic product applicator including a gripping part and an applicator part having bristles or teeth. The method includes additive manufacturing (S1) by sintering a powder of a plastics material followed by depowdering (S2) and post-treatment for the removal of particles that have become detached from the cosmetic product applicator or are partially sintered, the post-treatment including blasting (S4) and ionizing blowing (S5). This method allows the removal of particles likely to be irritating, for example with a size greater than 500 micrometers, while being suitable for industrial production. The invention also relates to an associated production method.
