Abstract: Laundry detergents and cleaners which, in addition to a peroxide compound, comprise a compound of the formula
(R1R1)N—X—N(R1R1) (I)
or metal complexes thereof, where X and R1 have the meanings listed in the description, are claimed.
Abstract: The invention relates to cogranulates comprising phyllosilicates and disintegrants, in particular cellulose, and to detergents and cleaners which comprise these cogranulates, preferably in tablet form.

Abstract: Water-soluble or water-swellable polymers, preferably having a particle size no greater than 10 &mgr;m, which, in addition to from 0.01 to 5% by weight of crosslinking structures originating from monomers having at least two olefinic double bonds, comprise, in random distribution, from 1 to 50% by weight of the repeat structural unit (1) and from 49.99 to 98.99% by weight of the repeat structural unit (2),
in which R1, R2 and R3 independently of one another are a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and Z is a C1-C4-alkylene group.
These polymers are used as thickeners, preferably in cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations.
Abstract: The invention relates to six new crystal polymorphs, &agr; (alpha), &bgr; (beta), &ggr; (gamma), &dgr; (delta), &zgr; (zeta), and &eegr; (eta), of the disazo colorant of the formula I,
having characteristic reflections in the X-ray diffraction spectrum. The novel crystal polymorphs are prepared by treatment in organic solvents.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing a colour-stable, aqueous dimethylaminoacetonitrile solution from a formaldehyde source, dimethylamine and hydrocyanic acid, wherein the reaction mixture contains 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine(benzoguanamine) in a concentration of from 0.001 to 5% by weight, based on formaldehyde, prior to the reaction and the starting substances are used stoichiometrically or in a ratio of 0.98-1.02 mol of formaldehyde and 0.95-1.10 mol of dimethylamine per mol of hydrocyanic acid. The resulting product remains colour-stable without a further purification step even after prolonged storage.

Abstract: Particulate bleach activators comprising 15 to 60% by weight of an acetonitrile, 20 to 70% by weight of a silicon-containing carrier material and 20 to 30% by weight of water, which are obtained by applying an aqueous solution, saturated at 10 to 40° C., of an acetonitrile onto the carrier material without subsequent drying, where the amount of saturated aqueous solution is measured such that the given limits for acetonitrile, carrier material and water are observed.

Abstract: The present application relates to storage-stable plastics additives which are prepared by cooling a mixture of 99.9 to 10% by weight of molten additive material and 0.1 to 90% by weight of crystalline additive material after a shaping process.
The shaping process is carried out by forcing the mixture out of a tool provided with die openings, and cooling can be carried out on a cooled conveyor belt.
Even after prolonged storage and/or handling, these plastics additives remain free-flowing and do not stick.

Abstract: The additive described essentially comprises a selected alkoxylated fatty amine or fatty amine derivative and a special metal salt compound, preferably a metal soap. This additive for heavy oils effects a good emulsification or dispersion of asphaltenes and other higher-molecular weight compounds and, in addition, inter alia, increased storage stability, improved pumpability due to decreased viscosity of the oil and longer service lives of the filter systems. In addition, it also effects enhanced combustion of the heavy oils. The effective amount of additive in these oils is 2 to 2000 ppm. The oils described are suitable, in particular, as furnace fuel for industrial plants and power stations and as engine fuel for marine engines.
