Abstract: Methods and systems for key generation and device management are disclosed. A root key can be stored on a component which can be integrated with a device, and the component can store a product class identifier. The product class identifier can define a class of products, devices, features, hardware components, or other entities. One or more keys can be generated and stored on the devices based on the product class identifier and the root key. A network operator or service provider can then provide services to a class of devices that includes the device, or perform and manage other functions. The services can be authorized or otherwise implemented based on the one or more new keys stored at the devices within the class of devices.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and software are described herein for providing a user interface that, in one example, indicates the current point in progress for various items that are available for selection. Upon selection of one of the items of content and/or services that present the items of content, the item of content may be accessed (e.g., for display, recording, or other type of consumption) at the point in progress or at another location within the item of content that may correspond to or otherwise depend upon the point in progress.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a content fling system and method. The content fling system may support a plurality of users flinging content or media at various times including simultaneously to the same output device. The content fling system may further support users flinging from various locations. The content fling system can also support a single content item being played back on a plurality of output devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for monitoring content consumption. A method may comprise determining, by a device, content accessed by one or more user devices. The method may comprise causing a distributed ledger record to be generated. The distributed ledger record may comprise an indication of the content. The distributed ledger record may be stored on a distributed ledger. The distributed ledger may comprise other records indicating content accessed by a plurality of other devices.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for wireless communications. Cells may be grouped into a plurality of cell groups. A base station may transmit a control message to modify a cell group of a cell associated with a wireless device.
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing content are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving and/or storing first content comprising a first break point, receiving and/or storing second content comprising a second break point, providing the first content, and providing the second content at the second break point in place of the first content at the first break point. In an aspect, the first and second content can be first and second episode of a television show. The first content and the second content can comprise portions that may be commercials, alternate scenes, previews. The portions in the second content can be received at a later time. For example, the portions in the second content can be a newer version or updated version of the respective portions in the first content. The portions in the second content can be played when the first content is provided.
Abstract: Methods and systems are for managing congestion in a network of devices are disclosed. A method may comprise identifying one or more battery-operated devices. A signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and a signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) for each battery-operated device may be determined. Based on the SNR and SIR of each battery-operated device, a battery loss using clear channel assessment (CCA) and a battery savings using CCA may be determined. A total battery savings may be compared to a total battery loss to determine that the total battery savings is greater than the total battery loss. Based on the determination that the total battery savings is greater than the total battery loss, a noise may be generated to block transmission from the one or more battery-operated devices.
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for efficient communication of content. A user device may request content from a content device. The content device may determine a browsing context of the user device. A user model based on machine learning may be determined based on the browsing context. The user model may be used to predicted additional content that might be requested by the user device. The additional content or a portion thereof may be sent to the user device in parallel with the originally requested content. As the user device rejects, accepts, or further requests the additional content, the user model may be further refined.
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A wireless device may inform a base station of a failure of a beam failure recovery procedure for a secondary cell. The wireless device may include an indicator of the failure in a report providing, or configured to provide, values for signal strength or other characteristic of a downlink signal. The indicator may be in addition to, and/or may replace, one or more indicators of signal strength or other characteristic.
Abstract: Aspects discussed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods to identify points of interest of viewers of a content item concurrently being transmitted in a linear stream to the viewers. A point of interest may refer to a segment of the content item that caused a surge in user reactions. During a subsequent transmission of the content item, identified points of interests may be displayed to the viewer. The viewer may select the point of interest in the content item to begin playback of the point of interest in the content item.

Abstract: Methods and systems for implementing a moving target defense are described. The moving target defense can comprise obfuscating a protocol identifier within a packet. The protocol identifier can be replaced with a faux protocol identifier. Additionally, diversion headers can be inserted into to the packet, thereby creating additional layers of complexity.
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for virtualizing routing of network traffic by offloading routing decisions to a controller in communication with a plurality of network devices. For load balancing applications, the controller may make up-front decisions as to both destination and route, rather than wait until traffic has been routed to a load balancing point before determining the destination.
Abstract: A system may receive application data in a client-incompatible format and convert at least a portion of the application data into an alternate client-compatible format. In one example, the incompatible format may comprise Enhanced Binary Interchange Format (EBIF) while a client-compatible format may include a web format such as JavaScript, XML or HTML. Interactions (e.g., commands and user input) associated with the application may be received and converted. The interactions may then be processed using the application.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. Packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) packet duplication may be configured for a bearer of a wireless device. The bearer may use various cells to send packets. A base station central unit and/or a base station distributed unit may configure the cells for the bearer based on various types of information.
Abstract: Channel deactivation and control for wireless communications are described. A base station may communicate with a wireless device via one or more cells. The base station may determine a deactivation condition for a cell associated with a control channel and may alter behavior associated with at least one channel communication via another cell.
Abstract: A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.
