Abstract: A rein system including a set of reins, in combination with at least one glove to be worn by a rider. The set of reins are attachable to a bit on a horse to thereby form a loop. The set of reins have a left side and a ride side, the left side have a first gripping section with a first portion and a second portion and the right side have a second gripping section with a third portion and a fourth portion. The glove has a mechanical fastener thereon such that when the glove is worn by the rider and the rider grasps one of the first gripping section or the second gripping section with the glove, the glove is mechanically fastened to the appropriate gripping section. The mechanical fastener of the glove is inset in the glove and flush or recessed with the surface of the glove.

Abstract: A pre-filter skimmer system that reduces the amount of debris and particles entering the water filter in order to increase the longevity of the water filter is disclosed. The pre-filter skimmer system includes a chamber including an inlet and an outlet, wherein the water enters via the inlet and exits via the outlet. The water enters a first collector that is positioned at least partially within the chamber, the first collector configured to capture particles of a first size carried by the water. From here, the water enters a second collector that is positioned downstream of the first collector, wherein the second collector is configured to capture particles of a second size smaller than the first size that passed through the first collector.

Abstract: A weighting system for a swimming pool step assembly includes a pair of weights, a removable cap for each of the weights, and means for removably mounting the weights to the exterior sides of a swimming pool step assembly. The weighting system described herein is easily installed and removed by the user without having to remove the weights from underneath the pool step assembly.

Abstract: Described herein are devices, systems and methods for accessing devices, such as modules or printed circuit boards (PCBs), for electrical communications. Various connectors described herein utilize a side-edge surface of a device, such as a PCB, for connectivity in order to maximize the surface area on the PCB upon which electronic components can be mounted. Such connectors can be used to temporarily connect to devices (e.g., PCBs) for the purposes of debugging, testing and/or configuring circuitry, firmware and/or software. Each such connector utilizes the side-edge surface of a device along its thickness to provide connectivity, which is useful in many situations, including when the device (e.g., a PCB) is to be soldered as a part onto a larger board at a later point in time, or where multiple PCBs are stacked.

Abstract: In a method for infusing a gas from a gas source into a liquid beverage, liquid beverage is driven from a beverage container into a liquid inlet port of a venturi mixing device. Nitrogen is infused into the liquid beverage by driving nitrogen through a gas inlet port of the venturi mixing device, thereby delivering nitrogen-infused liquid beverage to a discharge port of the venturi mixing device. The nitrogen-infused liquid beverage is poured from the discharge port through a faucet.

Abstract: A method according to one aspect of the present invention includes receiving patient information, analyzing the patient information to identify a condition for the patient, formatting a report based on the patient information and the patient condition, and storing at least one of the patient information, the patient condition, and the formatted report as part of a medical record for the patient. The stored information can be processed and analyzed to perform a risk assessment for the patient, as well as compared to other data. Embodiments of the present invention may be used to monitor any appropriate medical device from essentially any location from which a communications signal can be sent and received. This enables patients to enjoy an active lifestyle by not being tied to medical device monitoring equipment that is difficult or impossible to transport or having to routinely visit health care facilities.
