The method includes positioning a tire blank in the heating press, feeding steam into the heating bladder, stopping the supply of steam into the heating bladder, raising an internal pressure in the heating bladder to a predetermined setpoint value by feeding nitrogen into the heating bladder, and consistently maintaining the internal pressure of the heating bladder at the predetermined setpoint value through a pulsating input of nitrogen into the heating bladder occurring at least temporarily over a specific time.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for turning up a tyre-building part on a tyre-building drum using a roller lever. In order to produce a device for turning up a tyre-building part on a tyre-building drum, by means of which the tyre-building part is turned up without defects, in particular an unintended crease formation in the lateral wall, according to the invention the roller lever (5) comprises a lifting roller (7) on the side thereof directed towards the drum axis (3) of the tyre-building drum (2), opposite which a ramp-shaped component (12) is arranged. As the tyre-building part (1) is turned up, the roller lever (5) is raised by means of the lifting roller (7) to a pre-position, wherein, as the roller lever (5) is lifted to the pre-position, the crimping roller (6) is spaced in such a way that the crimping roller (6) is substantially exclusively in contact with the tyre-building part (1) and the roller rolls along the tyre-building part (6).
Abstract: The invention relates to a rubber mixture, in particular for vehicle air-inflated tires, seat belts, belts and hoses. The rubber mixture is characterized by the following composition: at least one polar or non-polar rubber and at least one bright and/or dark filler and at least one softener, wherein the softener is free of polycyclic aromatics according to Directive 76/769/EEC, and wherein the carbon source for the softener comes from non-fossil sources, and other additives.
Abstract: A device for vulcanizing vehicle tires uses a heating press and an internal bladder that is supplied with vaporous heating medium. In order to assure that the measurement of the vulcanization temperature is effected at the relevant locations of the internal heater, there is provided a temperature sensor in the form of a radiation thermometer or pyrometer that is disposed in the bladder cavity. The pyrometer takes an indirect temperature measurement for at least one location on the interior wall of the bladder by measuring a radiant energy emitted from the interior of the bladder.

In the method, rubberized steel chord is fed to a separating device. Then a powdered separating material is fed to the separating device. The steel chord and the rubber are separated by way of interactions between rotating tools and the separating material in the separating device. The separated rubber particles are encapsulated by the separating material. The rubber particles are discharged from an opening in the separating device.
Abstract: Reinforcement layer for pneumatic vehicle tires that includes reinforcements formed by one of filaments or cords made of steel that are disposed substantially parallel to and spaced apart from one another and are embedded in rubber material.
