Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a tire sealant (C) with a polymeric base. A highly viscous first sealant component (A) (including a natural rubber component that is undiluted or diluted with at least one additional natural rubber component and mixture ingredients that are free of a solvent and an activator) is mixed with at least one second sealant component (B) (comprising a separately produced medium with low viscosity containing at least one activator), to combine to the tire sealant (C), wherein a cross linking occurs associated with the subsequent application of the tire sealant (C) to the inside of the tire. Appropriate method steps are disclosed.

Abstract: A process for modifying natural rubber and modified natural rubber with improved processing performance. The process for modifying natural rubber includes at least the following process steps: comminuting the natural rubber in a first process step; blending and purifying the natural rubber in a second process step; further comminuting the natural rubber in a third process step; and, drying the natural rubber in a fourth process step. Abstract: A sulfur-crosslinkable rubberizing mixture for strengthening elements in motor vehicle pneumatic tires comprises 70 to 100 phr (parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of total rubbers in the mixture) of natural rubber, up to 30 phr of at least one polybutadiene, up to 15 phr of at least one carbon black, 20 to 100 phr of at least one high-dispersibility silica, at least one silane coupling agent and a bonding system. The invention further relates to motor vehicle pneumatic tires comprising the sulfur-crosslinked rubberizing mixture. For improved resistance to cracking and growth of cracks with good adhesion and good mechanical and dynamic properties, the high-dispersibility silica has a CTAB number to ASTM D 3765 of more than 130 m2/g.

The key conflict between tear propagation resistance, stiffness and heat build-up is solved by virtue of the carbon black being a nanostructured carbon black with a rough surface.

Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire has a radial carcass, a sulfur-impregnated rubber mixture which contains 70 to 100 phr (parts per weight related to 100 parts per weight of the entire types of rubber in the mixture) of natural rubber, up to 30 phr of at least one polybutadiene, up to 15 phr of at least one soot, 20 to 100 phr of at least one silica, at least one silane coupling agent and one adhesive system. Abstract: A tread profile has a tread profile section which is in the center of the tire in the axial direction, and in each case one shoulder profile section. The central tread profile section is composed of profile belts, and the shoulder profile sections each have a second profile belt. A circumferential groove is arranged in each case between a first profile belt of the central section and the profile belt of the shoulder section. The groove is formed with a web which is radially raised from the groove base and which divides the groove into a narrow first and a wider second section which has, at the groove base, a linear section of extent which merges, with a curvature radius R3 and R2, with the edges of the profile belt or of the web, wherein R3>R2. Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire for commercial vehicles is provided wherein the wet traction properties are improved with simultaneously good rolling resistance properties. At least 120 transverse grooves are arranged in each of the central profile ribs over the entire circumference of the tire. The width (B1) of the transverse grooves in the central profile ribs is maximally 1.5 mm at a distance of 3.5 mm from the profile surface, and the width of each inner circumferential groove is maximally 4 mm at a distance of 3.5 mm from the profile surface.
Abstract: A vehicle pneumatic tire has a two-layer belt and a tread having profile grooves within width TW 45. The maximum depth of the profile grooves varies within TW 45 and the tread has an outer contour defined by reference to rolling radius differences. The maximum depth of the grooves within a center region of TW 45 is the same. The maximum depth of the grooves in the shoulder region is a maximum of 2 mm less than in the center region. The outer contour of the tread in the center region is made flat so that the outer contour radius difference (ArdM) between the zenith and the center region axial end is less than 1 mm, and the outer contour of the tread in the transition region is configured so that the outer contour radius difference (Ards) between the zenith and the transition is 3 mm to 5 mm.
