Abstract: A decorative material consisting of decorative elements which are arranged in a pattern on a flat backing is described, said backing consisting of a thin, wide-mesh net on which said decorative elements are arranged with the side bearing said fusion adhesive coating facing towards said backing and said fusion adhesive coating penetrating through the mesh of said backing. In particular, cut paste and small rhinestones are employed as said decorative material.The decorative elements are suitable for many different applications, in particular for adorning and embellishing textiles and articles of clothing.

Abstract: Novel substituted 2,3-alkylene bis (oxy) benzamides and derivatives thereof are disclosed. Also disclosed is a method for producing said compounds. The compounds have anxiolytic, psychostimulant, disinhibiting and thymoanaleptic properties useful therapeutically in the psychofunctional field, particularly in gastro-enterology, cardiology, urology, rheumatology and gynaecology.

Abstract: A process for improving coffee oil characterised in that the coffee oil is contacted, under conditions of agitation, with a solution of a strong mineral acid in a monohydric aliphatic alcohol containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and separating the oil layer from the alcohol layer.

Abstract: The photovoltaic cells (6) are retained and protected by a transparent elastomer layer (12) extruded when hot prior to vulcanization and applied against the cells with a slight pressure to cause it to go into the spaces between cells, and vulcanized by heating, for example at 110.degree. C. or at 180.degree. C., thanks to the presence of incorporated peroxides.Application in the production of electricity from solar energy.

Abstract: A control for a sanitary mixing valve, includes an electric motor drive for the mixing water-control member in the mixing valve and a temperature sensor for measuring the discharge temperature of the mixed water. The analog values obtained by the temperature sensor are digitally converted and are fed to an electronic control means provided for one or a plurality of such mixing valves. The control means compares these values with previously determined nominal values of one or a plurality of nominal value transmitters and controls the electric motor drive based upon the corresponding value differentials.

Abstract: The invention relates to a support adapted to receive, in movable manner, a glasses frame portion and comprising for this purpose assembly means of the push-button type. According to the invention, these assembly means are integral with the support in question (which is a horizontal bar in the embodiment shown by way of example), being moulded in one piece therewith; they comprise a support plate drilled with a hole and a hinged retaining tab provided with a projecting lug which fits the hole. Application particularly to glasses for use in sports, worn under a helmet.

Abstract: A press for molding concrete products comprising a vibrating table, a mold adapted to be put on the vibrating table and to be filled with concrete, a concrete feeding means such as a hopper and means provided between the hopper and the mold to fill the mold with a given amount of concrete, said mold filling means comprising an endless belt conveyor arranged below the hopper and including belt-driving means, and means for bodily displacing the conveyor in a linear reciprocating motion so as to move the forward end of the conveyor above the mold and to bring it back to an initial position.

Abstract: A flow rate monitor of solid particles or liquid drops and totalizing count display apparatus including a pulsed infrared light source and receiver forming a monitoring beam of high immunity to ambient light, transversely passing through a sensing chamber. A particular application is wherein the system is applied to the drop chamber of an intravenous set having electronic circuitry for pulsing the infrared light source and pulsing the sensing period of the monitoring beam receiver and producing a drop signal for each drop and a visible light flash for each sensed drop. Circuitry responds to the drop signals for maintaining a count of the number of drops and activating a visible numerical display indicating the drop count according to a selected numeric function, and an additional numeric display is provided adjacent the total count display indicating a selected checkpoint number.

Abstract: A process for treating a rock essentially constituted by calcium aluminophosphate, comprising the treatment of the ground rock with a concentrated sulfuric acid in stoichiometric excess with respect to calcium and aluminum, at a temperature of above about 120.degree. C., for a time between a few minutes and about 5 hours, followed by controlled water take-up. Subsequently, a residue containing substantially all the calcium and the aluminum of the rock and a solution of the acids serving to digest a tricalciumphosphate charge are separated. The process is particularly suitable for the treatment of Thies phosphate ore.

Abstract: A labyrinth seal mounted between a shaft and the casing of a gas turbine combustion chamber, wherein the support of an abradable sealing surface in the seal which operates in conjunction with rapidly rotating fins is cooled by an upstream airflow parallel to the envelope surface of the extremities of such fins and opening into an upstream space. The cooling air is taken in from the casing by means of a conduit which is connected with an overflow valve tied to the gas turbine load. The invention is applicable to aviation turbojets.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved apparatus for feeding magazines of cigarettes to a cigarette packaging machine. The improvements reside in controls for synchronizing the delivery of full magazines to the packaging machine and also for monitoring the correct positioning of the magazines.

Abstract: A method for the improvement and drainage of a length of railway track employs a train to carry out the method whereby it is made possible to dismantle and reassemble the length of track together with its infrastructure. Ballast and earth are excavated from the track and replaced by a layer of sand which is distributed and compacted mechanically through an empty frame of a working truck of the train. Two travelling gantries are provided on the train and equipped both with a lifting device for a length of track and a lifting and tipping device for buckets. The working truck is also equipped with a strip for levelling a platform and a tamper. These two members are mounted on a common chassis supported by travelling on the two side parts of the empty frame of the working truck within the travelling supports for the gantries so that the levelling-tamping chassis may move freely by passing below the gantries.
