Abstract: A LIDAR-type device for a remote spectroscopy of a matter includes an optical emission channel that includes a laser source and an optical waves frequency generator to generate a first comb, a second comb, and a local comb. Each comb includes at least one stripe. A transmit telescope emits an emission signal. A reception channel includes a receive telescope that receives a signal reflected by the matter traversed by the emission signal and a detection system that detects a first beat signal of the at least one stripe of the local comb with the corresponding first stripe of the first reflected comb, a second beat signal of the at least one stripe of the local comb with the corresponding second stripe of the second reflected comb, and a third beat signal of the at least one first beat signal with the at least one second beat signal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gesture detection Apparatus and Method of Operation comprising of an mm-wave radar sensor, having an integrated mm-wave IC front end, with special arrangement of the antenna system, with a new art of angle detection and which does not contain radio down-conversion topology, common in non-professional radar systems. The proposed Apparatus is capable of detecting the two dimensional target angle, having an inherently low-cost system topology, suitable as a replacement in functionality for the commonly used gesture detection system in consumer applications. The proposed apparatus topology consist of two transmitting planar antennae, and two pairs of receiving antennae without the down-conversion of receiver chains, but with introduced analog signal combining structures and mm-wave power detectors. The complete proposed sensor apparatus topology with integrated antennae, mm-wave IC and digital processing parts may be realized in a module smaller than 1×1×0.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for diagnosing and detecting cancer by bioimaging using methylene blue nanoparticle as a contrasting agent. The methylene blue nanoparticle of the present invention for use as a topical cancer targeting phototherapeutic agent is composed of only a material of which the composition is clinically used or derived from human bodies, and thus a nanopreparation in which a barrier to clinical entry is low and the possibility of commercialization is very high, exhibits near-infrared fluorescence along with cancer targeting property, a capacity of generating a singlet oxygen and the like. Therefore, the methylene blue nanoparticle in the present invention is able to detect cancerous cells by emitting visible light in irradiation conditions.
