The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, methods of using such compounds to treat gastrointestinal and other inflammatory diseases, and processes and intermediates useful for preparing such compounds.
Abstract: Adapter for a windscreen wiper (10), in particular a motor vehicle windscreen wiper, said adapter being intended to connect a wiper blade (12) to an end piece (28?) of a first driving arm (14?), of the laterally locking type that is secured to a cylindrical rod (33) that defines an articulation axis of the adapter with respect to said blade, said adapter comprising a longitudinal body comprising two substantially parallel first longitudinal lateral walls that are connected together by a transverse wall, said body being connected at one longitudinal end to a cowling (46) that has a transverse dimension larger than that of said body, characterized in that said cowling has a transverse orifice configured to receive said cylindrical rod.
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described including a microscope system (11) configured to acquire one or more microscope images of a bodily sample, an output device (34), and at least one computer processor (28). The computer processor identifies, in the one or more images, at least one element as being a pathogen candidate, and extracts, from the one or more images, at least one candidate-informative feature associated with the pathogen candidate. The compute processor extracts, from the one or more images, at least one sample-informative feature that is indicative of contextual information related to the bodily sample. The computer processor classifies a likelihood of the bodily sample being infected with a pathogenic infection, by processing the candidate-informative feature in combination with the sample-informative feature, and generates an output upon the output device, in response thereto. Other applications are also described.

Abstract: Systems, devices, articles, methods, and techniques for advancing quantum computing by removing unwanted interactions in one or more quantum processor. One approach includes creating an updated plurality of programmable parameters based at least in part on a received value for the characteristic magnetic susceptibility of the qubit in the at least one quantum processor, and returning the updated plurality of programmable parameters. Examples programmable parameters include local biases, and coupling values characterizing the problem Hamilton.
Abstract: Methods and devices for computer-assisted milling of a pocket region of a workpiece by computing a blend arc radius, where the blend arc radius is based on a maximal variation of a Tool Engagement Angle (TEA), and smoothing at least one offset, where the smoothing is based on the computed blend arc radius and/or a prior computed blend arc radius with a stepover.

Abstract: An optical coherence tomography (OCT) system for imaging a sample is provided. The OCT system includes an optical circuit and a digitization circuit. The optical circuit includes an interferometer and is configured to probe the sample and generate an analog OCT signal representative of the sample. The digitization circuit includes a frequency down converter and an analog-to-digital converter. The digitization circuit is configured to receive, down convert and digitize the analog OCT signal, thereby outputting a digitized down converted signal. A method for imaging a sample is also provided. The method includes steps of optically probing the sample to generate the analog OCT signal representative of the sample and processing the analog OCT signal to obtain the digitized down converted signal.
Abstract: Valve with in-built pressure threshold detection, mounted in an engine block pipe, the valve comprising a body comprising an electrically insulating external element (16) and an electrically conducting internal element (18) bearing the obturator seat (14), an obturator (12), the valve also comprising an electrical terminal (34) connected to a detection system which, with the engine block (4) and the internal element (18), forms an electric circuit, the internal element (18) being in permanent contact with the electrical terminal (34), the internal element (18) sliding in the external element (16) such that, for a pressure below the threshold pressure, the internal element (18) is in electrical contact with the engine block, closing the electric circuit, and for a pressure equal to or greater than the threshold pressure, the internal element (18) is not in electrical contact with the engine block, breaking the electric circuit.

Abstract: A hierarchical multiple-level control system approach comprising subsystems, each with their own control system, that can operate in isolation but—when interconnected or networked with additional subsystems associated with other hierarchical levels, assume their respective role in a hierarchy. Applications of the implementation include, for example, hierarchical cooling and energy harvesting systems for data centers and other applications wherein various elements in the hierarchy can be introduced and/or removed in arbitrary order. Additional applications of the implementation include networked high-reliability control systems, robotics systems, networked sensor systems, adaptive communications networks, high-reliability communications networks, and command-and-control applications.
Abstract: A pile guide frame is coupled with at least one rotatable arm and includes a plurality of leveling modules for compensating for differences in height of the seabed. The rotatable arm can be rotated along a supporting frame and thereby move a pile guide module to facilitate pile-driving operations. A method for operating a pile guide frame coupled with at least one rotatable arm is also provided.
Abstract: A control system for use in a vehicle configurable for air use or road use, the vehicle comprising moveable control surfaces for controlling operation of the vehicle in air use, wherein the system comprises: a pedal arrangement of three pedals, comprising a central brake pedal and first and second side pedals, one on either side of the brake pedal, the pedal arrangement having a first configuration for use when the vehicle is configured for road use, and a second configuration for use when the vehicle is configured for air use; wherein in the first configuration, the first (right) side pedal is configured to act as a throttle control; and in the second configuration, the first and second pedals are connected to the moveable control surfaces.

Abstract: A crossing gate mechanism includes a swingable gate arm, a rotatable gate arm shaft fixed to the gate arm, and an electronic sensor assembly coupled to the gate arm shaft. Rotation of the gate arm shaft corresponds with swinging of the gate arm. The electronic sensor assembly senses an angular position of the gate arm shaft and transmits a position signal corresponding thereto. The electronic sensor assembly includes a driving element that is attached to the gate arm shaft to rotate therewith. the electronic sensor assembly also includes a driven element that is driven by the driving element such that rotation of the gate arm shaft causes the driven element to rotate. The electronic sensor assembly is configured to generate the position signal based on a position of the gate arm shaft.
