In some embodiments, high-speed digital data can be communicated over existing wiring and infrastructure on air, land, and marine platforms. The disclosed systems and methods are beneficial for platforms that were designed, developed, and manufactured before modern high speed communications were standardized, so they typically lack the communications infrastructure required to integrate advanced systems at remote points within the platform. The disclosed communications technology enables a legacy platform or infrastructure to take advantage of the advancements in sensor and payload technology since the production of such platform.
