  • Patent number: 6235140
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of decorative intermediate films used in laminated glass sheets which comprises the following steps: (a) forming a transfer sheet with a desired printed pattern printed over a transfer sheet substrate with an ink capable of dyeing an intermediate film made of a thermoplastic resin and used in a laminated glass sheet; (b) applying over the printed pattern surface of the transfer sheet thus obtained and/or the surface of the intermediate film, a solvent composition capable of softening to some extent the vehicle of the printing ink and the intermediate film; (c) superposing the surface of the printed pattern over the surface of the intermediate film through the solvent-composition-coated surface and then pressing them against each other at a low temperature less than the glass transition point of the intermediate film, thereby transferring and impregnating the printed pattern over and into the surface of the intermediate film; and (d) separating the transfer sheet substrate from th

  • Patent number: 6201292
Abstract: There is disclosed a resin-sealed semiconductor device in which plural terminal portions each integrally having an inner terminal on a surface and an outer terminal on a rear face are arranged two-dimensionally substantially in a plane electrically independent of one another. A die pad is electrically independently disposed in a substantially middle portion in the plane where the terminal portions are arranged two-dimensionally. A semiconductor element is mounted on the die pad. The inner terminals of the terminal portions are electrically connected via wires to terminals of the semiconductor element, and the entirety is sealed with a resin in such a manner that the outer terminals of the terminal portions are partially exposed to the outside. Therefore, an occupancy ratio of the semiconductor element in the semiconductor device is increased. The semiconductor device can be miniaturized. The mounting density onto a circuit substrate can be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6113836
Abstract: A female mold (2, 12, 22, 32, 42, 52, 62) having a desirable pattern is formed on a substrate (1, 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61). Next, ceramic material (3, 13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63) is filled in spaces in the female mold. Thereafter, the female mold is removed by heating the entire substrate, whereby a desirable thick film pattern can be finely and easily formed. The inorganic paste material comprising inorganic liquid vehicle containing water glass as main ingredient and powdery solid dispersed in the inorganic liquid vehicle is used as the ceramic material. The volume change of the inorganic paste material is small during the drying and calcinating processes, thus the inorganic paste material is prevented from being broken.

  • Patent number: 5940111
Abstract: The present invention relates to image-formation on any selected kind of objective body. The characterizing features reside in such that, based upon fed image data, required images are formed on an image-transferable sheet acting for image carry-over service and in reliance on sublimation image transfer technique, and then, by the use of said sheet with said images thus formed thereon, the formed images thereon are transferringly applied on the objective body. By adopting the above measures, the objective body can be formed sharply and clearly with any desired images, irrespective of kind and configuration thereof, with such superior results of highly improved unity and solidability between the formed images and the objective body to be decorated with.

  • Patent number: 5876836
Abstract: When a temporary adhesive layer for peelably bonding a transfer-receiving material to a thermal transfer sheet comprising a substrate film and a heat-fusible ink layer disposed on one side thereof is caused to comprise a specific adhesive, an excellent composite thermal transfer material is provided. In such a composite thermal transfer sheet, the thermal transfer sheet is firmly bonded to the transfer-receiving material so as not to cause wrinkles or deviation, both of these members may easily be peeled from each other so that the ink layer is exactly transferred to the paper in a transfer region and it is not transferred thereto at all in a non-transfer region, whereby the transfer-receiving material is not contaminated. An antistatic treatment provides a composite thermal transfer sheet causing no trouble due to charging at the time of or after printing operation.

  • Patent number: 5717684
Abstract: A disk cartridge with a case comprises upper and lower shell halves, each of which has a head insertion hole and a spindle insertion hole. A pair of projections are provided inwardly at a joint portion between the two holes. The peripheral wall portions of the spindle insertion hole are extended inwardly toward tips of the projections in an arched form. An almost annular projection is provided along a periphery of the spindle insertion hole to increase a supporting portion for supporting the disk when the spindle is taken off from the spindle insertion hole. The inner peripheral walls of the head insertion hole are chamfered. A corner of the groove is chamfered to prevent the corner of the groove from being caught by a part of the guide frame.
