Abstract: A rubber syringe piston in a generally cylindrical shape slidably mounted in a syringe barrel. The piston has a circular depression at an intermediate part thereof. R1 is smaller than R2 where sliding surfaces are disposed on the both sides of the circular depression and R1 is a diameter of the sliding surface on the leading end side of the piston and R2 is a diameter of the sliding surface on the rear end side of the piston, L1 is equivalent to or larger than L2 in the case in which L1 is a length of the sliding surface on the leading end side of the piston and L2 is a length of the sliding surface on the rear end side of the piston, and r is equivalent to or larger than 0.7 mm where r is a radius of curvature of a corner portion on the leading end side of the piston.
Abstract: A vacuum packaging system for transporting a plurality of medical containers includes a plurality of medical a tray that receives and supports the medical containers. The tray includes opposing first and second side walls, opposing side and rear walls and a bottom floor. The walls extend generally perpendicularly from the bottom floor of the tray to a top edge thereof. A nesting plate is removably mountable in the tray and includes a plurality of generally cylindrical sleeves each receiving one of the plurality of medical containers. A support surface within the tray generally extends parallel to and spaced a predetermined distance from the bottom floor of the tray and receives and supports the nesting plate. An air impervious flexible film defines an internal cavity and completely surrounds the tray and the medical containers. The internal cavity is evacuated to and maintained at a predetermined vacuum level below atmospheric pressure.

Abstract: A syringe mold with a coolant circulation outward and homeward positioned close to the cavity space and a sufficient coolant circulating flow for cooling a core cylinder is provided. Slide cores (5, 5) are put in the position where the slide cores (5, 5) protrude from the circumference of the core cylinder (2) by moving the slide core operating jig (4) forward in the axial direction of the core cylinder (2) while cooling the core cylinder (2) by the coolant. Then, a two medical agent mixing type syringe having a communicating groove on the inner circumference for mixing two medical agents is injection-molded. A molding failure due to insufficient cooling of the core cylinder (2) can be prevented by positioning the coolant outward and homeward close to the cavity space and making the cross sectional area of the coolant outward and homeward enough large because the coolant outward and homeward is partitioned by the circumference of the jig container space in the core cylinder (2).
Abstract: A conveying apparatus and a conveyed object inspection apparatus which can perform accurate, damage free image inspection. One conveying roller has a conveying surface formed in a spiral manner on an outer periphery surface thereof. The conveying surface is slanted with respect to the central axis narrowing toward other end side so as to convey a conveyed object while holding it between the conveying surface and other conveying roller. The other conveying roller has a tilt surface provided in a spiral manner on an outer periphery surface thereof. The tilt surface is slanted with respect to the central axis narrowing toward one end side. A feeding means can feed the conveyed object inbetween the conveying rollers. An inspection section has an image acquisition means capable of acquiring an image of an entire outer surface of the conveyed object, and an abnormality detecting means capable of detecting abnormality of the conveyed object based on the image A removing means can then remove an abnormal object.
Abstract: A vacuum packaging system for transporting a plurality of medical containers includes a plurality of medical containers each having a head side and a base side and a tray that receives and supports the medical containers. The tray includes opposing first and second sidewalls, opposing front and rear walls and a bottom floor. The walls extend generally vertically from the floor of the tray. At least one platform generally extends parallel to the floor of the tray. An air impervious flexible film defines an internal cavity. The air impervious flexible film completely surrounds the tray and the medical containers and the internal cavity is evacuated to and maintained at a predetermined vacuum level below atmospheric pressure. One of the head side and the base side of each medical container contacts a top surface of at least one platform when the medical containers are positioned in the tray.
