Abstract: In a device for humidifying a gas flow, an atomized liquid is combined with a gas flow in a spray chamber, and passed through a generally U-shaped gas flow passage having a first generally vertical part 3 through which the atomized liquid and gas passes to a lower part 4. From there, the gas passes generally vertically upwardly to an outlet 9. The lower part of the passage incorporates an opening 6 to a water separator 7. The opening 6 is closable by a float device 10, or includes a flow restricting control valve 13.
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine valve drive switching device with a switching unit, the switching unit includes an implementation unit for implementing a first switching process based on at least one signal and thereafter, to implement a second switching process independently of an electronic evaluation.

Abstract: In a compressor of a turbocharger of an internal combustion engine comprising a housing with an inflow channel; a compressor impeller arranged in the inflow channel; and a bypass channel which has a first flow opening upstream of the compressor impeller inlet, a second flow opening downstream of the compressor impeller inlet and an axial annular chamber which connects the first and the second flow openings. An axial vane structure is provided in the axial annular chamber of the bypass channel, which imparts a swirl direction corresponding to that of the air mass flow in the inflow channel to the air mass flowing through the bypass channel from the second to the first flow opening.
