Abstract: The invention relates to a tank valve (4) for mounting on a pressurized-gas container (3), having a main body (5), having multiple functional subassemblies for the refilling of the pressurized-gas accumulator (3), for the removal of gas from the pressurized-gas accumulator (3) and the implementation of safety and operating functions, wherein one of the functional subassemblies is formed as an extraction valve (6), and wherein at least one of the other functional subassemblies is formed as a check valve (14, 17). The tank valve according to the invention is characterized in that both the extraction valve (6) and the at least one check valve (14, 17) have in each case one valve seat carrier (22) with a valve seat (21) and one valve body (19), wherein that part of the valve seat carrier (22) which interacts with the valve body (19) has a sealing lip (23), which projects in an axial direction, as part of the valve seat (21).
Abstract: A device at least for moving a mass includes a hollow cylindrical airbag fluidically coupled to a gas generator. The airbag is arranged fixedly with one end on an object and a traction element is fixed in the region of an opposite end. The mass to be moved is arranged on the traction element. When the airbag unfolds traction is exerted on the traction element in such a way that the mass is able to be moved.
Abstract: A support assembly of a bumper on a front end region of a motor vehicle which has a front end beam with respective headlights supported thereon and which each have a headlight housing, and which has a bumper cladding of the bumper which is supported by at least one bumper beam, is disclosed. The bumper beam is supported via at least one respective support element on the respectively allocated headlight housing of the respectively allocated headlight. Also disclosed is a headlight having a headlight housing which includes at least one receiver on which an allocated support element of a bumper is able to be supported. A method for the production of such a support assembly is also disclosed.
Abstract: A fairing assembly for a commercial vehicle is disclosed. The fairing assembly includes a fairing and a mounting system for mounting the fairing on a frame of the commercial vehicle. The mounting system includes a first mounting bracket assembly mounted on the fairing and a second mounting bracket assembly configured to be mounted on the frame. The mounting system is configured to hold the fairing in a covering position for laterally covering at least a major portion of a wheel of the commercial vehicle and allow the fairing and the first mounting bracket assembly to pivot from the covering position into an intermediate position and translationally move along the second mounting bracket assembly in a transverse direction of the commercial vehicle from the intermediate position into a stowed position in which the fairing rests on the second mounting bracket assembly via the first mounting bracket assembly.

Abstract: A method for producing a sandwich component, in particular an inner trim component for a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The method begins with a core layer made from a foamed plastic and a cover layer which includes reinforcing fibers and plastic fibers. The plastic of the core layer has a first melting temperature which is higher than the second melting temperature of the plastic fibers of the cover layer. By the core layer being arranged on the cover layer, a multilayer composite is created. This multilayer composite can be further processed into a semi-finished product. The multilayer composite or the semi-finished product is then heated in a heating device to a temperature which is lower than the first melting temperature but therefore higher than the second melting temperature. Then the heated multilayer composite or the semi-finished product is formed in a forming tool in order to produce the sandwich component.

Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle involves directly injecting fuel into a combustion chamber using an injection device, and a mixture of the fuel and air is ignited in the combustion chamber by an ignition device. The internal combustion engine is operated selectively in at least one first operating mode with at least one first valve lift of at least one gas exchange valve of the internal combustion engine, associated with the combustion chamber, or in at least one second operating mode with at least one second valve lift of the gas exchange valve, which is smaller than the first valve lift. For assisting a charge movement of the mixture in the second operating mode, at least one further injection of fuel directly into the combustion chamber is carried out prior to the ignition.
