Abstract: A cylinder head device for an internal combustion engine includes a cylinder head having a first receiving region arranged on an inlet side of the cylinder head for at least one first camshaft to be mounted on the cylinder head, and at least one second receiving region arranged on an outlet side of the cylinder head which faces away from the inlet side for at least one second camshaft to be mounted on the cylinder head. The receiving regions are separated from one another at least in certain areas by an intermediate wall of the cylinder head which is arranged at least in certain areas between the receiving regions. A duct element, by means of which at least one element of the cylinder head device can be supplied with lubricant, runs in the intermediate wall.
Abstract: A method for producing a valve device is provided. The airbag has at least one substantially air-permeable textile, fabric layer and with a film. The textile layer and the film are arranged in a deep-drawing tool with at least area-wise reciprocal overlapping. The film is deep-drawn in deep-drawing regions by the deep-drawing tool to form a plurality of depressions of the film. The textile layer is connected to the film in regions of the film differing from the deep-drawing regions by the deep-drawing tool.

Abstract: A method and a device control the brake of a vehicle when a rear-end collision is imminent. When an imminent rear-end collision is detected the vehicle is automatically braked. A potential collision time is determined and, depending on the potential collision time, a brake is activated before the occurrence of the same when the vehicle is at a standstill. The brake is automatically deactivated if no rear-end collision is detected at the potential collision time.
Abstract: An air filter for a ventilation system of a motor vehicle has a filter frame and a filter medium fastened in and surrounded by the filter frame. The air filter can be inserted along its two-dimensional extent into a receiving slot and is sealed, at least along the inserted regions of the filter frame, between the filter frame and walls of the insertion slot. To allow the filter to be installed in the ventilation system in as force-free and simple a manner as possible, the filter frame has, in the end side facing the insertion direction, at least one guide slot which is oriented in the insertion direction.
Abstract: A steering arrangement includes a steering spindle and a steering coupling provided with a fork crown bearing a connecting element that connects an end of the steering spindle to the steering coupling in the form of a plug connection. To enable the combined steering spindle and steering coupling ends to be connected to each other in the correct relative position and thus to be able to prevent a defective assembly, the steering spindle end and the connecting element are coaxial plug partners on ends facing each other, by means of at least one tongue and groove guide element pair that provides a torque-transmitting priority control. The at least one groove and/or the at least one tongue of the guide element pair is molded on the interior of the shaft. A clamping device clamps the plug partners against each other in a plugging position so that they cannot come loose.

Abstract: A hybrid electric vehicle includes a wet clutch device that establishes and interrupts a connection between an engine and an electric motor, and a transmission switchable between a driving range in which driving force can be transmitted to driving wheels and a non-driving range in which transmission of the driving force is interrupted. When a battery temperature is greater than a warm-up determination value while the vehicle is at a standstill with the transmission switched to the non-driving range, the wet clutch device is kept disengaged. When the battery temperature is less than the warm-up determination value, a battery warm-up control unit switches the wet clutch device into engaged state to connect the engine and the electric motor together and vary driving force of the electric motor alternately to a positive side and a negative side so as to repeatedly charge and discharge the battery.
Abstract: In a turbine for an exhaust gas turbocharger of an internal combustion engine having a housing part which has a receiving chamber and which comprises a spiral duct through which exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine can flow, the spiral duct having an outlet cross-section via which exhaust gas is directed onto a turbine wheel disposed in the receiving chamber whereby the turbine wheel can be rotated, at least one flow control member is provided which can be moved in the circumferential direction of the receiving chamber and by means of which the flow cross-section can be adjusted, wherein a warp angle of the outer contour region of the wall over which the flow cross-section can be adjusted is smaller than a wrap angle over which the outer contour region thereof extends.
Abstract: A component connection between a first component and a second component involves the first component having a fold that at least sections of an edge region of the second component engage, and at least sections of the components being bonded to one another by an adhesion agent in the region of the fold. An end region of the fold is shaped in such a way that a distance between the first and second components increases towards the end region, so that a funnel-shaped, outward-opening gap is formed between the two components, in which the surfaces of the two components are either joined to each other by the adhesion agent or provided with a coating across their entire surface area.
Abstract: A device and method for switching electrical load circuits involve the use of an overload contact integrated in an exciting current circuit of a magnetic coil. The electrical load circuits include an electromagnetic contactor having a magnetic drive formed from a magnet yoke with a magnet coil and a magnet armature to which a contact bridge is coupled as a movable contactor contact by a contact retainer. In the switched-on state the contactor generates a magnetic retaining force for contacting the contact bridge with fixed contacts. The retaining force results from a magnetic field generated by the magnet coil, and the retaining force is greater than an armature opening force. The overload contact is integrated in the exciting current circuit of the magnet coil in such a manner that that when the exciting current circuit is closed and a movement of the contact bridge against the magnetic retaining force occurs, the magnet coil can be short-circuited by closing the overload contact.
Abstract: The flow field plates in a bipolar plate assembly for a fuel cell can be both bonded and sealed appropriately using microencapsulated adhesives. This offers several advantages over using other adhesives which may have limited pot life and/or require lengthy curing periods at elevated temperature during which time the plates must be stably positioned and under compression.
Abstract: A proton conducting copolymer electrolyte with competitive voltage versus current density characteristics and superior durability comprises a proton conducting hydrophilic domain comprising a sulfonated poly(phenylene) polymer, and a hydrophobic domain comprising a main chain comprising a plurality of bonded arylene groups wherein essentially all of the bonds in the main chain of the copolymer are carbon-carbon or, to a certain extent, carbon-sulfone bonds. More particularly, none of the bonds in the chains of the copolymer are ether bonds. Due to the absence of ether bonds, the copolymer electrolyte is less susceptible to degradation in solid polymer fuel cells.

Abstract: A webbing includes, in the longitudinal direction, an expansion region having a first webbing width and a connection region having a second webbing width.
