    Abstract: A switched-capacitor converter has a first and second terminal; a switched-capacitor ladder network having a plurality of serially connected first capacitors defining a plurality of flying capacitor nodes; a plurality of serially connected second capacitors defining a plurality of output capacitor nodes, wherein nodes of the flying capacitor nodes can be connected to nodes of the output capacitor nodes in a plurality of ladder converter configurations to perform a switched-capacitor ladder power conversion; and a switch matrix to connect the first terminal to different flying capacitor nodes and/or to connect any flying capacitor node to any other flying capacitor node or output capacitor node according to different switch configurations. The support structure comprises a substantially planar base element, and first and second support pillars extending from said base element. An optical detection device is arranged on the side of the base element opposite to said support pillars, and is arranged to capture image data from at least one of the head portions of the support pillars. The motion of the support pillars induced by the strip of contractile tissue can thus be captured from below, i.e. through the planar base element.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a processing pipeline with a stationary structure motion corrector, a stationary structure remover and a flowing structure detector. The stationary structure motion corrector is configured to motion correct stationary structure in a series of ultrasound images for subject motion, wherein the series of ultrasound images includes the stationary structure and flowing structure. The stationary structure remover is configured to remove the stationary structure from the motion corrected series of ultrasound images thereby producing flow images of the flowing structure. The flowing structure detector is configured to detect peaks of flow of the flowing structure in the flow images over time to generate images of detected flow peaks. The images of detected flow peaks are accumulated over time to generate a high resolution ultrasound image.
