Abstract: A system, method, server, and computer readable medium for tracking progression toward a customized goal. Input establishing accounts for clients is received. Each of the clients is assigned to one or more of the providers in response to selections from an administrator. Customized goals are established for each of the clients based on treatment or assistance required. Data associated with each of the clients is received from the one or more providers. Data associated with each of the clients received from the providers is compiled. A determination is made whether the customized goals are being met in response one or more thresholds for the compiled data. Alerts are automatically communicated to at least the one or more providers in response to the compiled data varying from the one or more thresholds to become significant for one or more of the clients.

Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The client device accesses an acceleration server to receive a list of available tunnel devices. The requested content is partitioned into slices, and the client device sends a request for the slices to the available tunnel devices. The tunnel devices in turn fetch the slices from the data server, and send the slices to the client device, where the content is reconstructed from the received slices. A client device may also serve as a tunnel device, serving as an intermediate device to other client devices. Similarly, a tunnel device may also serve as a client device for fetching content from a data server. The selection of tunnel devices to be used by a client device may be in the acceleration server, in the client device, or in both.

Abstract: A method for overcoming intermittent, temporary, or other fetching failures by using multiple attempts for retrieving a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed. The URL fetching may use direct or non-direct fetching schemes, or a combination thereof. The non-direct fetching method may use intermediate devices, such as proxy server, Data-Center proxy server, tunnel devices, or any combination thereof. Upon sensing a failure of a fetching action, the action is repeated using the same or different parameters or attributes, such as by using different intermediate devices, selected based on different parameters or attributes, such as different countries. The repetitions are limited to a pre-defined maximum number or attempts. The fetching attempts may be performed by the client device, by an intermediate device in a non-direct fetching scheme, or a combination thereof. Various fetching schemes may be used sequentially until the content is retrieved.

Abstract: Provided are methods, devices, and computer-program products for determining an accuracy score for a device mapping system. In some examples, the accuracy score can be based on a device map of the device mapping system and viewing data from an automated content recognition component. In such examples, the accuracy score can indicate whether the device mapping system is assigning similar categories to devices that have similar player of media content. In some examples, a device map can be determined to be random, indicating that the device mapping system is inaccurate. In contrast, if the device map is determined to have a sufficiently low probability of being merely random in nature, the device mapping system can be determined to be accurate.

Abstract: A system and method provide dosage information from past trials of potential subjects to clinics performing drug research so the clinics can determine if the potential subjects qualify (i.e., have waited sufficient time) to qualify for second trial. The system provides a clearinghouse that does not divulge the prior trials proprietary information to the requestor. Likewise, the system does not divulge to prior trial holders who is requesting subject information for subsequent trials. Biographical information including biometric identification can be used to identify subjects in the database. A further method allows a subject to confirm the data in the database.

The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid).

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to data discovery. A control program that is executing on a computer system may receiving a request to locate instances of data on a computer network having a plurality of computer systems that are managed by an orchestration program. The control program may perform multiple, limited-time-period deployments of a sniffer program to different portions of the computer network in order to sample network traffic from the different portions to determine whether instances of the data appear in the network traffic. The control program may receive, from the sniffer program, information that identifies one or more of the different portions of the computer network whose network traffic included instances of the data.

Abstract: A system and method for medication delivery. Information is received indicating a user is scheduled to receive medication. A route between a dispensary storing the medication and a location of the user is determined for a delivery system. The medication is sent in a container from the dispensary to the location utilizing the route. An indication is given that the medication is available to the user. A computing device may receive a plurality of media content streams, where at least two of the plurality of media content streams concurrently includes a same unscheduled media segment. The computing device may determine that the media display device is playing the unscheduled media segment by examining the media content available at the current time in each of the plurality of media content streams. The computing device may determine identification information from the media content included in the media content stream. The computing device may determine contextually-related content, which may be disabled while the unscheduled media segment is being played by the media display device. The computing device may display the media content stream and the contextually-related content after the unscheduled media segment has been played.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a high-performance data lake system and a data storage method. The data storage method includes the following steps: S1: converting a file into a file stream; S2: converting the file stream into an array in which multiple subarrays are nested; and S3: converting the array into a resilient distributed dataset (RDD), and storing the RDD to a storage layer of a data lake. The present disclosure provides a nested field structure, which lays the foundation for parallel processing in reading, and effectively improves read performance. Furthermore, the present disclosure flexibly generates a number of nested subarrays according to hardware cores, such that the data lake achieves better extension performance, and can keep optimal writing efficiency for different users.
