Abstract: A three-dimensional distance measurement device includes a light emitting unit that irradiates a subject with light; a light receiving unit that detects reflected light from the subject; a distance calculation unit that calculates a three-dimensional distance to the subject on the basis of a transmission time of the detected reflected light; an image processing unit that generates a distance image of the subject on the basis of the calculated distance data; and a distance mode selection processing unit that selects a predetermined distance mode from a plurality of distance modes having different measurable distance ranges and sets a driving condition of the light emitting unit. By selecting a first distance mode in a first frame and selecting a second distance mode in a second frame, and by combining the distance data acquired in the respective frames, three-dimensional distance data of a frame to be output is generated.

Abstract: A method is provided for processing data in a database, wherein the database includes a first table and a second table. Each of the tables have a plurality of rows of data, wherein a key identifies one or more rows of data in the tables. There is a plurality of matching key pairs among the tables. Each key pair includes a key of a first table, and a matching key and a unique row of a second table. In operation, the method involves simultaneously processing row data of key pairs associated with a first row of the second table, and then simultaneously processing row data of key pairs associated with any remaining rows of the second table in sequential row order.
Abstract: A method is provided for batch processing data that is stored in multiple tables and is organized in the tables as a plurality of rows of data and a plurality of columns. Each row is identified by a key, and each column represents a field having a unique field name. The batch processing is performed using batch processing logic. In operation, the batch processing is performed by reading out data from only a portion of a row from each of the tables that is to be used for the batch processing logic by specifying the key of the row from the respective table, and the unique field names in the row of the respective table to be used for the batch processing logic. The remaining portion of the data in the row of the respective table is not read out from the row. Batch processing is then performed on the read out data using the batch processing logic. The batch processed data is then written back into the same row of the respective table that the data was read out from.
Abstract: A secure programming system and method for provisioning and programming a target payload into a programmable device mounted in a programmer. The programmable device can be authenticated before programming to verify the device is a valid device produced by a silicon vendor. The authentication process can include a challenge-response validation. The target payload can be programmed into the programmable device and linked with an authorized manufacturer. The programmable device can be verified after programming the target payload by verifying the silicon vendor and the authorized manufacturer. The secure programming system can provision different content into different programmable devices simultaneously to create multiple final device types in a single pass.
Abstract: A method for overcoming intermittent, temporary, or other fetching failures by using multiple attempts for retrieving a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed. The URL fetching may use direct or non-direct fetching schemes, or a combination thereof. The non-direct fetching method may use intermediate devices, such as proxy server, Data-Center proxy server, tunnel devices, or any combination thereof. Upon sensing a failure of a fetching action, the action is repeated using the same or different parameters or attributes, such as by using different intermediate devices, selected based on different parameters or attributes, such as different countries. The repetitions are limited to a pre-defined maximum number or attempts. The fetching attempts may be performed by the client device, by an intermediate device in a non-direct fetching scheme, or a combination thereof. Various fetching schemes may be used sequentially until the content is retrieved.
Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The client device accesses an acceleration server to receive a list of available tunnel devices. The requested content is partitioned into slices, and the client device sends a request for the slices to the available tunnel devices. The tunnel devices in turn fetch the slices from the data server, and send the slices to the client device, where the content is reconstructed from the received slices. A client device may also serve as a tunnel device, serving as an intermediate device to other client devices. Similarly, a tunnel device may also serve as a client device for fetching content from a data server. The selection of tunnel devices to be used by a client device may be in the acceleration server, in the client device, or in both.
Abstract: Systems and methods for improved data conversion and distribution are provided. A data subscription unit is configured to receive data and information from a plurality of data source devices. The data subscription unit is in communication with a virtual machine that includes backtesting utility configured to generate backtesting data using one or more statistical models and one or more non-statistical models. The backtesting utility may translate the backtesting results into one or more interactive visuals, and generate a graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying the backtesting results and the one or more interactive visuals on a user device. The backtesting utility may update one or more of the displayed backtesting results and the one or more interactive visuals without re-running the modeling steps.
Abstract: A system, method, device, and platform for managing data. Data associated with a user received from one of a number of sources. The data is automatically confirmed as applicable to a user. The data is added to a data set associated with the user. A determination is made whether the data set is complete after adding the data to the data set. One or more tokens are created based on the data set of the user.

Abstract: At least one of a measure of trust or a measure of spoofing risk associated with a sender of a message is determined. A measure of similarity between an identifier of the sender of the message and an identifier of at least one trusted contact of a recipient of the message is determined. The measure of similarity is combined with at least one of the measure of trust or the measure of spoofing risk to at least in part determine a combined measure of risk associated with the message. Based at least in part on the combined measure of risk associated with the message, a verification action is performed including by automatically providing an inquiry message that requests a response to be provided.
