Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method of backing up and restoring a containerized application or a cloud-based application using a datamover service includes determining a stateful set of services of the containerized application or cloud-based application to be backed up. A persistent volume associated with the determined stateful set of services of the containerized application or cloud-based application is identified. Then, a snapshot of the identified persistent volume is created and a new persistent volume is created from the snapshot. The created new persistent volume is attached to a datamover service. Data from the created new persistent volume is then copied to a network file system or storage system using the datamover service, thereby creating backup data stored in a storage system.
Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The client device accesses an acceleration server to receive a list of available tunnel devices. The requested content is partitioned into slices, and the client device sends a request for the slices to the available tunnel devices. The tunnel devices in turn fetch the slices from the data server, and send the slices to the client device, where the content is reconstructed from the received slices. A client device may also serve as a tunnel device, serving as an intermediate device to other client devices. Similarly, a tunnel device may also serve as a client device for fetching content from a data server. The selection of tunnel devices to be used by a client device may be in the acceleration server, in the client device, or in both.
Abstract: In a range imaging camera, a first range image producing unit produces a first range image by calculating a distance to an object on the basis of the delay time or the received light amount of each pixel produced by a light receiving processing unit. A second range image producing unit produces a second range image by performing filtering for each pixel of the first range image using a group of neighboring pixels including its own pixel. In this case, a pixel group selection unit selects a group of pixels used in the filtering such that at least one of produced values including the delay time and the received light amount produced by the light receiving processing unit and the first range image produced by the first range image producing unit is equal to or larger than a noise component value.
Abstract: A system, method, device, and platform for performing a gaming utilizing blockchain. A player profile is created in response to information received from a player. Gaming information is received from the player associated with the one or more games. Selections are assigned to the player for the one or more games utilizing player profile and the gaming information. Winners and a host with each of the one or more games of the one or more games are compensated once the one or more games are completed. Abstract: A method for establishing system resource prediction and resource management model through multi-layer correlations is provided. The method builds an estimation model by analyzing the relationship between a main application workload, resource usage of the main application, and resource usage of sub-application resources and prepares in advance the specific resources to meet future requirements. This multi-layer analysis, prediction, and management method is different from the prior arts, which only focus on single-level estimation and resource deployment. The present invention can utilize more interactive relationships at different layers to effectively perform predictions, thereby achieving the advantage of reducing hidden resource management costs when operating application services.
Abstract: A novel weatherproof electrical component enclosure incorporates swappable internal module configurations for several types of network devices, wherein each internal module embodies standardized dimensions and standardized attachment elements for seamless internal device swap in-and-out compatibilities within the same weatherproof enclosure. Examples of novel swappable internal modules for the novel weatherproof electrical component enclosure include a fanned Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch, a fan-less PoE switch, a network router, and a wireless base station, all of which are simply swappable in and out of the weatherproof enclosure. The novel weatherproof electrical component enclosure also uniquely incorporates a customer's component hotel space as a weatherproof storage of customer-specific private accessory devices, in addition to housing factory-packaged original equipment which the weatherproof electrical component enclosure is originally designed to encase.
Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and computer-program products are described herein for providing dynamic content serving. The dynamic content serving technology can identify, in real-time, programming arriving at a client device, identify a specific media segment being received and/or displayed, and determine which pre-stored substitute media segment may be used to replace the identified segment. A picture-in-picture channel can be used to display the substitute media segment.

Abstract: Methods and systems of operating a blockchain mining device using natural gas produced at a hydrocarbon production, storage, or processing site/facility. A generator may be retrofitted to an existing prime mover used to pump the well, and the generator may be used to power the blockchain mining device. Portable mining devices may be hooked up to a casinghead gas supply at a remote, isolated oil facility. Power loading levels may be modulated by adjusting mining transaction levels to correspond with combustible gas production levels.
