  • Patent number: 4901536
Abstract: A control system for controlling an actuator and a display unit of an air-conditioner, and a method of adjusting the control system. An operational amplifier executes calculation on the basis of analogue data from a plurality of temperature-data input terminals. An output from the operational amplifier is sent to a microcomputer through an A/D converter. In a normal control mode, the microcomputer controls the display unit and the actuator of the air conditioner. The microcomputer executes also an adjusting mode in which the microcomputer controls the display unit to display an outut voltage from the operational amplifier. The microcomputer selects one of the modes to be executed in response to a mode signal from a mode-signal generator. A reference voltage is inputted to the operational amplifier from a reference-voltage generating circuit. The reference voltage is adjusted such that the output voltage from the operational amplifier displayed on the display unit is brought to a predetermined standard level.

  • Patent number: 4901181
Abstract: A motor control device controls a motor driving mechanism which drives a motor according to a motor drive signal for providing a normal drive signal and a locked condition signal. When the motor becomes overloaded while being driven by the motor driving mechanism according to the motor drive signal, the motor driving mechanism is controlled by controlling circuitry which inhibits the motor drive signal from being supplied to the motor driving mechanism. The controlling circuitry, while the motor is in the overloaded state, controls the motor driving mechanism so that power is supplied intermittently to the motor, or so that the supply of power for the regular and reverse rotation is given alternately. The controlling circuitry, when the load of the motor becomes normal, allows driving of the motor according to the motor drive signal.

  • Patent number: 4896589
Abstract: An air conditioning control system for an automotive vehicle equipped with windowpanes has a humidity sensor for sensing humidity on the inner surface of a windowpane, and a temperature sensor for sensing temperature of the inner surface of the windowpane. When the sensed humidity on the inner surface is higher than a first predetermined value corresponding to the sensed temperature of the inner surface, the inner surface is determined to be in a state immediately before a mist occurs, and demisting control is executed. A second predetermined value lower than the first predetermined value by a predetermined amount is determined after the start of the demisting control. When the sensed latest value of the humidity on the inner surface becomes lower than the second predetermined value, it is determined that the mist has been cleared away, and the demisting conrol is stopped.

  • Patent number: 4895000
Abstract: In an air conditioning system for vehicles which includes a compressor of a variable capacity type, a comparison is made between a compressor capacity required for an air conditioning control and a compressor capacity required for a demist control. The compressor capacity is controlled so as to be brought to greater one of the compressor capacities compared with each other. Alternatively, when it is judged that a windowpane is misted, the compressor capacity is increased and, simultaneously, the temperature of air blown into the compartment is raised. Alternatively, the compressor capacity is controlled so as to be increased within a range of a set maximum allowable capacity until the mist on the windowpane is cleared off when it is judged that the mist occurs on the windowpane.
