The scheduler considers the type of transactions that are going to be sent over the interface. The schedulers may be calibrated from time to time on-the-fly to find the optimal configurations adapted to the current workload. The scheduler will organize the packets selected by the arbitration module so that the data transfers are sent in a burst of a predetermined sized to the host for optimum performance.
