Abstract: In a method for activating a vehicle locking system, an optically detectable machine-readable code is detected. At least one message that identifies the vehicle locking system and that includes or represents the code is transmitted. At least one message that identifies the vehicle locking system and that includes or represents the code is received. A digital key for the vehicle locking system is determined, in particular from a database that is assigned to the vehicle locking system by the at least one message. The digital key is transmitted to a transfer device that is identified by the code and that is arranged in a housing of the apparatus for activating the vehicle locking system. The digital key is stored in the memory, and the digital key is transmitted in response to a request by the vehicle locking system.

Abstract: A method is provided for producing a stator arrangement that has a stator core and a winding arrangement. The stator core has stator slots. The winding arrangement has winding elements with a conductor and an insulation layer. Each winding element has two interconnected winding element legs with two winding element end portions on each winding element leg. The method includes positioning the winding elements on the stator core so that the winding element legs extend through one of the stator slots with winding element end portions protruding on a first side of the stator core. The method then includes using a first laser arrangement to remove the insulation layer from regions of the winding element end portions. The method then includes pressing the first and second winding element end portions against one another and using a second laser arrangement to carry out welding.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a stable pharmaceutical formulation of an antibody, wherein the formulation contains buffer, surfactant and salt, and wherein the formulation is devoid of free amino acids. The disclosed antibody formulations are liquid formulations that are also suitable for lyophilization.
Abstract: A measuring device includes first and second component groups rotatable about an axis relative to each other. The first component group has a scanning component, having a first substrate, and the second component group has a scale component, having a second substrate and an angle scale. The measuring device can determine a relative angular position between the component groups. The measuring device has a passive sensor array having conductor track structures. The conductor track structures are applied on the first substrate by an additive process so that the sensor array determines a torsional load of the first substrate about the axis. Alternatively, the conductor track structures are applied on the second substrate by an additive process so that the sensor array determines a torsional load of the second substrate about the axis.

Abstract: A vaporizer has a main unit, an atomizer, a mouthpiece and a quick connect adapter. The quick connect adapter includes a housing, air flow path, a quick release connector and an adapter connector. The housing defines an inner channel. The inner channel has a first open end and a second open end. The air flow path is defined by the housing to allow vapor to flow from the atomizer to the mouthpiece. The quick release connector is coupled to, and located adjacent, the first end of the housing. The quick release connecter is configured to allow the mouthpiece to be releasably coupled to the main unit via the quick connect adapter. The adapter connector coupled to, and located adjacent, the second end of the housing. The adapter connector is configured to allow the quick connect adapter to be releasably coupled to the main unit.

Abstract: Pattern transfer printing (PTP) systems and methods are provided to improve the quality, accuracy and throughput of pattern transfer printing. PTP systems comprise a tape handling unit for handling a tape with pattern transfer sheets sections and for controllably delivering the pattern transfer sheets one-by-one for paste filling and consecutively for pattern transfer, with the tape moving from an unwinder roll to a re-winding roll. PTP systems further comprise a paste filling unit which enables continuous paste filling using a supporting counter roll opposite to the paste filling head, a wafer handling and positioning unit controllably delivering wafers for the pattern transfer in a parallelized manner that increases throughput, a paste transfer unit with enhanced accuracy and efficiency due to exact monitoring and wafer alignment, as well as a print quality control unit.

Abstract: An oral care agent, in particular toothpaste or mouthwash, contains a methylxanthine, selected from the group consisting of caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, and a calcium phosphate compound, preferably in particulate form, selected from the group consisting of monocalcium phosphate monohydrate (MCPM), anhydrous monocalcium phosphate (AMCP), octacalcium phosphate (OCP), amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), calcium-deficient hydroxyapatite (CDHA), hydroxyapatite (HA or HAP) and tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP), particularly preferably hydroxyapatite. The addition of methylxanthines, of which preferably caffeine is used, in combination with the other compounds achieves a synergistic effect.

Abstract: A multi-chamber battery module is equipped with first cell packets and second cell packets. The multi-chamber battery module includes a module housing divided into at least three adjacently arranged regions in a first direction by first separating walls. At least two first or second cell packets are arranged in each region in a second direction arranged perpendicular to the first direction. The regions arranged externally in the first direction include the first cell packets and the at least one region lying between the externally arranged regions includes the second cell packets. The first cell packets include electrical connections, which are arranged on opposite sides of the cell packets. The second cell packets include electrical connections, which are arranged on the same side of the cell packets. Cell packets that are arranged side-by-side across regions are electrically connected to one another in series.

Abstract: An air-cooling device for cooling motor vehicle components by travel-induced airflow. The device includes a frame delimiting a cooling opening, a cover, which can be inserted into the cooling opening via a separating gap and which is at a distance from the frame for closing a majority of the cooling opening in a closed position. At least one connecting element is connected to the frame and to the cover for bridging the separating gap. The cover can be moved between the closed and open positions, in which the cover is at least partially moved out from an opening plane of the cooling opening delimited by the frame via an elastic deformation of the connecting element. An on-demand and energy-efficient cooling of motor vehicle components is enabled by the elastically deformable connecting element, which is connected to the frame and to the cover and can also cover the separating gap.
