Abstract: An automatic washer for continuous positive airway pressure equipment has a housing defining a wash chamber having an open face providing access to the wash chamber, a door selectively closing the open face, and a nozzle protruding into the wash chamber, a rack slidingly receivable within the wash chamber. The rack has a hose clamp oriented to secure an end of a CPAP hose when seated in the rack with an open end of the CPAP hose facing the nozzle. The nozzle has an air conduit that introduces air during a drying cycle and a water conduit that introduces water during a rinse cycle, and when the rack is fully inserted in the wash chamber, the nozzle is received inside the hose clamp, thereby, inside the CPAP hose when present.

Abstract: In a method for controlling an active chassis of a vehicle, an obstacle is identified on a travel route located in front of a wheel of a front axle. A spring-shock absorber force of the spring-shock absorber system of the corresponding wheel is adjusted depending on the geometry of the obstacle such that the vehicle body experiences the lowest possible vertical acceleration when driving over the obstacle. Data from the front axle driving over the obstacle is then evaluated and adjustments are made for balancing the rear axle as it drives over the obstacle. When the rear axle drives over the obstacle, adjustments are made to at least one wheel of the rear axle, taking into account the adjustments due to the front axle driving over the obstacle, such that the vehicle body does not experience any vertical acceleration when the rear axle drives over the obstacle.

Abstract: A steering apparatus for actively controlling an at least semi-autonomously driven motor vehicle. The steering apparatus includes a steering body having an axis of rotation, a steering wheel handle and a steering wheel canister. The steering wheel handle and the steering wheel canister are rotatably connected to one another about an axis of rotation. An airbag module is arranged within the steering wheel canister, wherein the steering body has an active position and a stowed position, and is movable between these positions. In the active position, the steering body is rotatable about the axis of rotation for active control of a relevant motor vehicle. The airbag module is held in the steering wheel canister in a functionally identical orientation irrespective of the position of the steering body. An increase in the seating and movement freedom of the driver during a (fully) autonomous operation can be realized while maintaining safety.

Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle floor of a motor vehicle, which motor vehicle floor separates a motor vehicle interior from an outside space. The motor vehicle floor has fluid ducts for a fluid for controlling the temperature of the motor vehicle floor to flow through. At least one fastener is furthermore provided in a region beneath the fluid ducts on the motor vehicle floor, which fastener allows mechanical and thermal contact-connection of at least one electrical energy storage element to the motor vehicle floor.

Abstract: A damping system of an active chassis for a vehicle wheel. The damping system includes a double-acting hydraulic cylinder and a damper having a piston, which damper is couplable to a wheel suspension system for the wheel. A hydraulic pump has a hydraulic reservoir and a hydraulic unit including valves. The hydraulic pump and the hydraulic unit cooperate with hydraulic chambers of the hydraulic cylinder such that, depending on the direction of conveyance of the hydraulic pump of the hydraulic unit, a movement of the piston in a first direction of actuation or in a second direction of actuation can be provided. The hydraulic pump and the damper are connected via the hydraulic unit and a tube-hose system including tubes and hoses. The hydraulic cylinder of the damper and the tube-hose system of the damping system feature a combined hydraulic capacity of between 9 mL/100 bar and 14 mL/100 bar.

Abstract: A wheel housing shell for a vehicle having an underbody that faces a roadway, on which the motor vehicle travels during operation. During operation of the vehicle on a wet roadway, in particular when driving through shallow water, for example when aquaplaning, splash water is displaced from the wheels of the motor vehicle, which forms fountains that in turn generate at least one splash water force. To improve the wheel housing shell for the motor vehicle with respect to driving through shallow water, for example when aquaplaning, the wheel housing shell has a splash water drainage geometry in a rear region in relation to a forward driving direction, which is configured and arranged, such that the splash water in the rear region of the hydropower-optimized wheel housing shell is tangentially discharged downwards in the direction of the roadway by the splash water drainage geometry during operation of the motor vehicle.
