Abstract: The feed line for a hydraulic system, in particular of a motor vehicle, is formed, at least over part of its longitudinal extent, by a dimensionally variable body. The wall of the dimensionally variable body is elastically deformable, at least in regions, so that, when the flow passes through the dimensionally variable body, the cross section of the dimensionally variable body can be varied as a function of the pressure of the hydraulic medium.
Abstract: A system for attaching a wheel to a motor vehicle, having a wheel hub which bears on a drive shaft stub of the motor vehicle and to which the wheel to be attached is attached by way of a central fastening element. On one section the central fastening element has an external thread, by way of which the bolt is screwed to an internal thread of a wheel hub stub of the wheel hub, a slotted cone interacting with the central fastening element in such a way that when attaching the central fastening element to the wheel hub the slotted cone can be pressed against the wheel. The slotted cone here being braced on an outer face of the wheel hub stub and entering into a frictional connection with the wheel hub stub.

Abstract: In a position-measuring device and a method for transmitting movement information from a position-measuring device to sequential electronics, the position-measuring device includes a position-measuring unit, a movement-measuring unit, an arithmetic logic unit and an interface unit. Position values of two objects in a measuring direction are measurable by the position-measuring unit. The movement-measuring unit is used to ascertain a movement value of the two objects. The position values and the movement value are supplied to the arithmetic logic unit which ascertains movement information in the form of a correction value that is suitable for calculating the movement value in sequential electronics from an instantaneous position value, at least one previous position value, a controller cycle time that indicates the time interval between the measurements of position values, and the correction value.
Abstract: A rear lid closes a rear compartment of a passenger vehicle. The rear lid, when fitted, is attached to the vehicle and is composed of an inner part and an outer part. The rear lid contains a spoiler device which can be displaced between an inoperative position and an operative position and interacts with an adjustment device. In order to simplify producibility of the rear lid, the inner part is formed by an assembly carrier which forms the supporting structure of the rear lid and to which at least the adjustment device of the spoiler device is fastened. The outer part is formed by the spoiler device and a panel device.
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to a covering member for a protruding portion of a patient's body. This cover is flexible and collapsible so that it conforms to the shape of the encased portion of the body. This prevents the cover from being noticed while it is worn under clothing. The cover can contain a medicament or agent for pretreating a portion of the body before an examination or procedure. When the cover is used to apply a topical anesthetic to a portion of the body for a recommended period of time prior to the procedure or examination commencing, the amount of discomfort experienced by the patient can be significantly reduced compared to the amount experienced by the patient who has the anesthetic applied for just a few moments before the procedure begins. Alternatively, the cover can be used to hold a medicament or agent on the intended portion of the body in order to heal a wound or cure a condition such as a skin rash or the like.
Abstract: There is provided a process for preparation of celecoxib by reacting 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-[4-(methyl)phenyl]butane-1,3-dione with 4-sulphonamidophenylhydrazine or its salt in a solvent medium that contains an alkyl ester. There is also provided a process for the purification of celecoxib using aromatic hydrocarbon solvents.

Abstract: A device for sensing a position of a spoiler on a motor vehicle, where the spoiler is moved with a drive unit between a retracted setpoint base position and an extended setpoint operating position.
