  • Publication number: 20110010062
Abstract: A method adapts a drive torque that is transmitted to driven wheels of a motor vehicle, especially during cornering. A supplementary torque which arises during a gear change operation and is produced by a moment of inertia, in particular that of an engine, is transmitted to the driven wheels in dependence on a longitudinal/transverse acceleration of the motor vehicle and of a friction coefficient of the tires.

  • Publication number: 20110006623
Abstract: A component housing in a motor-vehicle drive train is sealed by pressurization of the housing interior. The component is a hybrid module (1) comprising at least one electric machine provided between the combustion engine (VM) and the gearing (G) of the motor-vehicle drive train. The pressurization is achieved by a rotating component (R, RA, M, F) of the hybrid module. The rotating component is designed in a manner similar to an impeller of a centrifugal pump. Therefore, rotation of the component builds up a positive pressure (P) on the radially outer region of the rotating component in the region of the housing (GE) in the interior of the hybrid module.

  • Patent number: 7866424
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle with an internal-combustion engine and an electric motor has a tank ventilation system that includes a fuel tank and a suction pipe leading from a filtering device, which can be regenerated, to the intake path of the internal-combustion engine. A control device is configured to actuate different valve devices for flushing the filtering device, so that ambient air can be fed to the internal-combustion engine through the filtering device and the suction pipe. In addition, the control device is configured such that, during purely electric operation of the hybrid vehicle, it connects the internal-combustion engine as a function of the loading condition of the filtering device or of the flushing gas concentration.

  • Patent number: 7866023
Abstract: An arrangement for fastening a support of a scale of a linear measuring device on a mounting surface of an object to be measured. The arrangement includes a clamping jaw and a force-exerting element urging the clamping jaw against the support. The clamping jaw acts together with the support in such a way that the clamping jaw urges said support with a clamping force that includes 1) a first force component against the mounting surface by the force-exerting element and 2) a second force component that urges the support against an attachment face extending transversely to the mounting surface. The attachment face is directly constituted by an attachment body, which can be fixed positively and free of play in a receptacle on the object to be measured.

  • Publication number: 20110003662
Abstract: A method controls an automated dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle. An actuating device, preferably arranged in the region of a steering wheel, for selecting the gear step of the shift transmission, which actuating device has a first and a second actuating element which, when actuated individually, cause an upshift or downshift of the shift transmission and, when actuated simultaneously, transfer the shift transmission into an idling state. When both actuating elements are actuated simultaneously, the force-transmitting clutch remains closed and consequently the selected gear remains engaged, and at the same time a clutch torque and/or an engine torque and, consequently, a drive torque acting on a driven wheel is reduced to approximately 0 Nm. It is thereby possible to tie up the force transmission again especially quickly after the termination of the idling state.

  • Patent number: 7863846
Abstract: A control device is provided for an assembly of a motor vehicle body, which assembly can be moved between at least two positions, specifically at least between a position retracted to the maximum extent and a position deployed to the maximum extent, in particular a spoiler. The control device contains a first sensor which transmits a signal to an evaluation device, which determines the position of the assembly from the signal of the first sensor, in dependence on the rotational speed of a motor which serves to move the assembly, and a second sensor which monitors a deployed position of the assembly and transmits a corresponding signal to the evaluation device.
