Abstract: A motor vehicle with a windshield wiper cover for covering a region located in front of a windshield in the direction of travel. The windshield wiper cover contains at least two elements which can be connected to each other via a double interlocking connection, and can each be fixed to the motor vehicle body. One of the two elements is configured as a service flap and, by being opened, permits access to a component arranged there below without the other element of the windshield wiper cover also having to be removed for this purpose.

Abstract: A service unit for use in replenishing and/or maintaining service fluids in a vehicle has a unit, such as a driving engine, with at least one service element, such as fill nozzles, and a collecting pan that at least partially encompasses the service element. To ensure the convenient replenishment or maintenance of service fluids, a protective drip cover is attached to the collecting pan. The protective drip cover can be shifted from a non-deployed position to a protective position, in which it projects at least partially beyond the collecting pan.

Abstract: A fender configuration for a motor vehicle has a fender and a deformation element which is C-shaped in cross section. For the substantially vertically oriented supporting of an upper edge of the fender, an upper limb of the deformation element is connected to the fender and a lower limb is connected to the vehicle body. It is important that the C-shaped deformation element is arranged such that it is open toward the associated fender.

Abstract: A motor vehicle brake power proportioning device has a brake control force proportioned by a balance-beam-type device at a variable ratio onto different brake cylinders, particularly to the master brake cylinders of the front and rear axle of the motor vehicle. The balance-beam-type device is configured so that a lever arm adjustment, that is continuously a function of the brake control force, can be achieved for a constant course of the proportioning of the brake control force onto the brake cylinders. For achieving the lever arm adjustment as a function of the brake control force, at least one section of the balance-beam-type device is continuously deformable as a function of the brake control force.

Abstract: A top drive for a flexible vehicle roof which can be transferred from a closed position into a storage position and vice versa. At least one roof link is movable via a linear drive, the roof link and a fixed end of the linear drive being fastened to a main bearing of the top, wherein an actuating end of the linear drive is fastened pivotably to a throw-over lever which is fastened to the main bearing of the top and at the free end of which there is arranged a drive connecting rod which is fastened at a first end in an articulated manner to the free end of the throw-over lever and at a second end in an articulated manner to a section of the roof link, which section is spaced apart from the pivot point on the main bearing of the top, as a result of which a driving movement of the linear drive can be transmitted to the roof link.

Abstract: For certain medical images, it is important and/or required that a user view all of a medical image at full resolution so that minute, but important, indicia in the medical image are not missed. A computing systems monitor the portions of the medical image that are displayed on the display device, notates those portions that have been displayed at full resolution (or other user-defined display parameters), and provides the user with information indicating portions that have not been viewed at full resolution and/or provides information indicating for which images of a multiple image examination full pixel display has been accomplished. The process reduces the possibility of missing an abnormality in a medical image due to the viewer not viewing a portion of the image at full resolution or using other user-defined display parameters.
Abstract: The invention proposes a reamer having a base (3), at least one cutting tip (13) disposed essentially parallel to a face (11) of the reamer (1) that comprises a geometrically defined major cutting edge (27) and a geometrically defined minor cutting edge (29) and is held on a contact surface (19) of the base (3) of the reamer (1) by a tightening screw (39) penetrating the cutting tip (13), with a back (17) of the cutting tip (13) resting on the contact surface (19), having an adjustment unit having an adjustment screw acting on the cutting tip (13) that introduces adjustment forces into a lateral surface of the cutting tip (13).

Abstract: A position-measuring device includes a code and a scanning unit. The code includes a sequence of code elements arranged one after the other in a measuring direction, at least two successive code elements in each case forming one code word having position information. The scanning unit includes a lighting unit for emitting directed light in the direction of the code for imaging at least the code elements forming code word onto a detector unit, the detector unit having in measuring direction at least two detector elements per code element forming code word, as well as an evaluation unit in which the code word having the instantaneous position information is ascertainable from the detector signals of the detector elements. The scanning unit and the code are arranged in a manner allowing movement relative to each other in measuring direction.
