The drill tip has a tip at the distal end of the step drill and comprises a first number of geometrically defined cutters, each of which is paired with a first flute and lies on an imaginary first circular line about a longitudinal axis of the step drill. The imaginary first circular line has a first radius. The at least one drill step is arranged at a distance from the distal end and has an end face with a second number of geometrically defined cutters each of which is paired with a second flute and lies on an imaginary second circular line that runs about the longitudinal axis of the step drill and has a second radius. The first radius is smaller than the second radius. The first flutes of the drill tip and the second flutes of the drill step merge in a region, which is arranged at a greater distance from the distal end than the end face of the drill step, and form a single flute.

Abstract: An actuating device for shifting stages of a transmission, wherein a displaceable actuator for the manual selection of a shift stage (or driving mode) is provided, which can be adjusted into a plurality of positions. Abstract: A passive planar thermo-optical structure for detection of a region of changed temperature on patient's skin is provided. The thermo-optical structure has a layered structure including a transparent film layer, a thermochromic layer, a securing layer, an adhesive layer, and a protective layer. At least one dye in the thermochromic layer is above a temperature threshold range of 31°-37° C., which adopts the first colour and keeps it in a temperature range greater than or equal to 0.6° C. A width of this temperature range, in which the colour is indefinite, is smaller than 0.3° C. A method of diagnosing allergy using the above-structure is provided. The method includes the steps of stimulation, measurement and comparison. After stimulating three regions of patient's skin, an evaluation of extent of histamine reaction is performed. Then, the extent of histamine reaction in the third region is compared to that in the first and second regions.

Abstract: A valve comprises a shell, a flexible valve member sealingly mounted within the shell, and a valve body mounted atop the flexible valve member within the shell. The flexible member is moveable between closed and open positions to allow the flow of fluid therethrough. The valve is engageable with a filling device having flow ports and a surrounding closure.
