Abstract: In one embodiment for regulating a baking process in an oven, an operator introduces a product to be cooked into the oven, and a sensor detects a gas or moisture concentration release from the product cooking in the cooking chamber over time wherein The slope of the curve of the detected concentration is determined, and a trigger value that is linked to the product to be cooked is determined for the slope. The point in time at which the trigger value will be reached is determined, and an additional time linked to said point in time is determined at the point in time at which the trigger value is reached. The additional time depends on the point in time at which the trigger value is reached. The additional time is continued as an additional process until the additional time has elapsed in case the trigger value is not reached.
Abstract: Profiling a television viewer by monitoring and processing, locally at a television viewing environment, the viewer's interactivity (e.g., via a remote control unit) with the television viewing environment. Generating one or more profiles for each viewer based on one or more of the multitude of interactions of each viewer and on, in general, the viewing habits and preferences of the viewer. Automatically and reliably, detecting or inferring at a particular time, which specific individual or individuals, are actually interacting with the TV in household comprising more than one individual. Such viewer identification and profile generation can be used to facilitate the delivery of targeted content, including targeted advertising.

Abstract: A plano-Fresnel LED lens and a LED assembly thereof are revealed. The lens is a Fresnel lens whose optical surface on the forward side thereof is a plano surface having saw teeth with vertical taper (draft with vertical shape) so that the lens in the LED assembly concentrates light emitted from a LED chip to generate light whose peak intensity is an elliptic distribution pattern. Moreover, the lens and the LED assembly thereof satisfy certain conditions. Thereby, light from the LED chip is gathered by a single lens to form a preset specific distribution pattern and is satisfying requirement of the ratio of the luminous flux that is larger than 85%. The plano-Fresnel LED lens and a LED assembly thereof are applied to lights and flashlights in mobile phones or cameras.
Abstract: A photosensitive resin composition comprising a photosensitive silicone compound of specified molecular weight having any of specified photosensitive substituents and a photopolymerization initiator in any of specified proportions is used. Thus, there can be obtained a resin composition containing a photosensitive silicone compound that provides a material suitable for a rewiring layer or a buffer coat material of LSI chip, less in a film loss between before and after curing and improved in the stickiness of pre-exposure stage. Further, there can be obtained a resin insulating film utilizing the resin composition.
Abstract: A process is disclosed to increase the Z/E ratio of 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene. The process involves contacting a starting material comprising 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene with a catalyst on AlF3 or carbon, wherein the catalyst is selected from the group consisting of SbClwF5-w, TiClxF4-x, SnClyF4-y and TaCl2F5-z wherein w is from 0 to 4, x is from 0 to 3, y is from 0 to 3, z is from 0 to 4, to obtain a product wherein the Z/E ratio of 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene is increased relative to the Z/E ratio of 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene in the starting material. A process is also disclosed to decrease the Z/E ratio of 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene.

Abstract: A multicolor hologram (e.g., a two-color hologram) is replicated (copied) into a photosensitive layer by masking to produce a copy (replicate) of the hologram in a manner such that the copy is an accurate and true replication of the hologram (e.g., master hologram) and the copy is characterized to possess a high brightness level and color fidelity comparable to that of the multicolor hologram that was replicated. Both flood and scan modes can be employed in the replication.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for analyzing, sensing and measuring information related to the concentrations of various gases, including NOx, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and oxygen, in a multi-component gas system using chemical sensors and chemical sensor arrays. The sensors and sensor arrays use chemo/electro-active materials to analyze and detect the presence of gases.
Abstract: The invention is related to a method and a monitoring system for sample-analysis of data comprising a multitude of data packets. Defined parent population numbers (N) of data packets are sampled by an out of N sampling and classified or vice versa. Classification is done by classification rules to create sample-flow-groups of specific flows. Each sample-flow-group consists of a sample-flow-quantity of data packets having a sample-flow-size. According to the invention in each sample-flow-group sample-flow-variances and sample-flow ratios defined by the sample-flow-quantity in proportion to the sample number (n) are determined. Furthermore, an estimated flow size defined by an estimated sum of data sizes of data packages in a flow of the parent population number of data packets and its variance are calculated.

Abstract: A cooktop has a metal support plate upon which heating equipment can be mounted and a control casing for housing or attaching a control unit or electronics. Fasteners allow for detachable connection of the metal support plate and the control casing to each other, and comprise fastenings formed on the metal support plate and corresponding slots on the control casing, whereby the fastenings are designed for attachment into the slots in an attachment orientation whereby movement of the two parts relative to each other results in the final assembled state. There is a moveable protrusion on the control casing and a recess or catch on the metal support plate that mates with the protrusion. During movement of the support plate and control casing into the final assembled position, the protrusion interacts with the catch or recess to lock the metal support plate relative to the control casing.
