  • Patent number: 4905085
Abstract: The pixel clock of a system for receiving, sampling, and digitally storing the information contained in an analog sampled-data video signal is automatically synchronized and stabilized so that the received data is sampled by said system at or near the center of each successive received pixel period. A preset counter is employed to determine whether the receiving system clock is running at a predetermined number of pixel periods per horizontal sweep; any variation from the predetermined number is sensed and converted to a DC voltage level which is used to adjust the receiving system clock automatically to the correct number of periods per sweep. Synchronization of the receiving system clock is accomplished by triggering it with the sync pulse portions of the received video signal.

  • Patent number: 4905179
Abstract: The elementary adder, as far as carry propagation is concerned, has two circuit branches: the first is an inverter (II) followed by a transfer gate (T1, T2) activated when two operands have opposite logic levels, in which case it transfers complemented input carry Cin to the output CoutN; the second consists of a 4-transistor series cirucit, two P-MOS (T3, T4) and two N-MOS (T5, T6) geenrating carry output CoutN complemented when the two operands have equal logic levels.

  • Patent number: 4904932
Abstract: A circuit condition monitoring system for an electrical power distribution system includes a system connector component having an integrally molded test point socket within which a circuit module is received to provide fault current or voltage loss monitoring of a system conductor within the connector. The test point socket provides capacitive coupling to the monitored conductor without the use of a metallic test point, and a ground return to the electrically conductive outer sheath of the connector. An electrically conductive end cap may be provided to cover the projecting end of the module when the module is installed in the socket. Adapters installed on the other end of the module enable the module to be installed on prior metallic contact-type test points.

  • Patent number: 4902299
Abstract: A surprising improvement in dye-lightfastness of dyed nylon automotive fabrics is achieved by a combination of a copper salt and of an oxanilide light stabilizer. The oxanilide is effective with a surprisingly broad range of copper derivatives. Both the copper and the oxanilide may conveniently be applied from the dyebath, or, surprisingly, the copper provides improvements even if melt-spun into the fiber.

  • Patent number: 4901420
Abstract: The method of making and using a flexible protective pad device includes forming a spine or base member with a plurality of lateral arms or projections extending from same. The lateral arms or projections extend from opposite sides of the spine or base member. The tips of the lateral arms or projections are coated or covered with resilient material such as liquid rubber, and resilient cushions are affixed or applied to the spine or base member to form the overall device. In using the device it is positioned upon a component on an article such as a boat to be protected, and the lateral arms or projections are bent about the component to substantially conform to the component. The spine or base member likewise may be shaped to conform to the component. Then an overall cover is applied over the protective device or devices as installed.
