Abstract: A portable frame is supported for vertical movement on a pair of posts adjacent the surface of a table for receiving an object to be marked. A traveling plate is supported for movement on the frame in the horizontal plane above the surface of the object on the table. A ball screw drive connects the traveling plate to the frame for imparting longitudinal movement of the traveling plate in the horizontal plane. A marking head assembly is pivotally mounted on the plate and carries a plurality of impact pins which are reciprocated into and out of contact with the object by operation of programmable solenoid valves. An indexing wheel adjusts the angular position of the marking head assembly to control the size of characters formed by the pins impacting the object. The pins are activated as the traveling table is moved in the horizontal plane to inscribe a desired mark of a preselected character size on the plate.
Abstract: A watch assembly consisting of a case, a removable bezel element and a replaceable band element is provided. The case of the assembly is provided with a pair of brackets depending from its rear face for receiving the band element in the composite assembly. The bezel element is constructed with a pair of retaining platforms for supporting the case when it is placed within the bezel. In assembly, the case and bezel are coupled together, with the platforms holding the case in one direction, and then the band is inserted through the depending brackets of the case, lapping against the bezel and the rear face of the case, thereby preventing movement of the case in an opposite direction.

Abstract: A trailer having a variable configuration for carrying heavy loads, including: a main frame, a main suspension system supporting the rear of the main frame, coupling mechanism for coupling the main frame to a power unit with or without an auxiliary trailer and for supporting the front of the frame. Mechanisms for coupling on a variety of auxiliary frames are provided, for the purpose of distributing the weight of the payload and the weight of the trailer itself according to legal requirements and requirements of safety. These mechanisms generally include a front suspension arm joining the main suspension to the auxiliary frame, a main pivot between the main frame and the auxiliary frame, and an additional connecting link between main and auxiliary frames.

Abstract: An organic solvent based, thermosetting coating composition of a hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer and blocked polyisocyanate crosslinking agent. The coating composition may be formulated as a hot sprayable, high solids coating composition suitable for use as a chip resistant automotive vehicle primer adapted for use on body panel areas subject to chipping by stones, gravel and other road debris. Alternatively, the composition may be formulated as a high solids composition sprayable with conventional spraying equipment. Hydroxy functional epoxy-polyester graft copolymer is prepared by polymerization of lactone monomers in the presence of hydroxy functional epoxy ester resin precursor. Such precursor resin is formed by reaction of diepoxide chain extended substantially simultaneously with diphenol and dicarboxylic acid and chain terminated with acid component comprising primary hydroxy functional acid.
