    Abstract: The invention is a component and method of bonding a ceramic part to a metal part by heating a component assembly comprised of the metal part, the ceramic part, and a thin compact interlayer material placed between the two parts and heated at a temperature that is greater than the temperature of the eutectic formed within the compact interlayer material or between the metal part and the compact interlayer material, but that is less than the melting point of the ceramic part or of the metal part. The component assembly is held in intimate contact at temperature in a non-reactive atmosphere for a sufficient time to develop a strong bond between the ceramic part and the metal part. The compact interlayer material may be further comprised of two or more sets of metal alloy particles each having distinct compositions.

The fluorine-containing polymer has an absorption coefficient of less than 4.0 mm?1 at a wavelength of 157 nm. These polymers are useful in photoresist compositions for microlithography. They exhibit high transparency at this short wavelength and also possess other key properties, including good plasma etch resistance and adhesive properties.

    Abstract: In a method for coding an audio signal to obtain a coded bit stream, discrete-time samples of the audio signal are transformed into the frequency domain to obtain spectral values. The spectral values are coded with a code table having a limited number of code words of different lengths to obtain spectral values coded by code words, the length of a code word assigned to a spectral value being that much shorter the higher the probability of occurrence of the spectral value is. A raster is then specified for the coded bit stream, the raster having equidistant raster points and the distance between the raster points depending on the code table(s) used. In order to obtain error-tolerant Huffman coding, priority code words, which represent particular spectral values which are psychoacoustically more important than other spectral values, are so arranged in the raster that the start of each priority code word coincides with a raster point.

Projection data of the object is provided, wherein the projection data comprises transmission values for the object. A representation of the object is calculated from the projection data to obtain two or three-dimensional representation data for the object. A measure for the transmission length of the object is determined by using the representation data. A transmission value, which is associated to the determined measure for the transmission length, is determined and the correction characteristic curve of several determined measures is generated for transmission lengths and associated transmission values, wherein a precorrection of the projection data can be performed by using the determined correction characteristic curve, to iteratively determine the correction characteristic curve by using the precorrected transmission values.

    Abstract: A cleaning device for a continuous loop band blade food processing machine. A pair of scrapers is positioned on, and seated against, opposite sides of the blade for scraping matter from the blade as it passes between the scrapers. The scrapers are biased against the blade. The upper scraper has an axis that is transverse to the blade's axis, and the blade can be removed by loosening the screw attaching the upper scraper and pivoting the scraper about the screw. The edge of the upper scraper is transverse to the blade's axis to cause scraped matter to flow toward a deflector panel that guides air and scraped matter into a vacuum inlet which is positioned near the edges of each scraper.
