Abstract: An inductive wireless power transfer and communication system includes an electrostatic shield for one of the coils. The electrostatic shield is inductively coupled with the coil and is configured as an open circuit. A signal processing element or elements, especially a modulator or a demodulator, are connected across the electrical discontinuity in the electrostatic shield. Because the electrostatic shield is inductively coupled to the coil, the modulator or demodulator can operate on the signal on the coil.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a main body of a grinding tool fixture, a grinding tool fixture having a cap at a front, a sleeve and a coil spring consecutively connected, and a main body connected at a rear, and the main body having a body and a rotating shaft integrally formed with a rear of the body. Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and device for straight line detection and image processing. Abstract: A system and overshoe for dissipating charge from a human body standing on a surface and wearing the system. The overshoe further contains a sole and an overshoe body that is attached to the edge of the sole such that the sole has an inner surface that faces the overshoe side and an outer surface that is exterior to the overshoe. A conductive strip is folded around at least a portion of the edge of the sole and bonded to the sole by a first adhesive such that at least a portion of the conductive strip is exposed to the inner surface of the sole. A tape covers the seam between the conductive strip and the sole on an exterior portion of the overshoe and that is adhesively bonded to the seam by a second adhesive such that at least a portion of the conductive strip is exposed to the surface that the human body is standing on.
Abstract: Poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compounds are disclosed herein comprising positively charged organic groups. The degree of substitution of the ether compounds is about 0.05 to about 3.0. Also disclosed are methods of producing poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compounds having positively charged organic groups, as well as methods of using these ether compounds for increasing the viscosity of a aqueous compositions. Hydrocolloids and aqueous solutions comprising the ether compounds are also disclosed.

Abstract: A spectacle lens is disclosed. The disclosed lens provides a vision correcting area for the correction of a wearer's refractive error. The viewing correction area provides correction for non-conventional refractive error to provide at least a part of the wearer's vision correction. The lens has a prescription based on a wave front analysis of the wearer's eye and the lens can further be modified to fit within an eyeglass frame.
